Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park RV Resort at Monticello, IA

This was the first time my family had decided to stay local and try out their wibit course! I did not realize all of the fun activities they had and then the people that typically are there the entire season give tips and tricks. My kids enjoyed the shop, breakfast pizza made fresh and the candy bar bingo. We stayed in the older cabins but it was a nice quiet and away from everyone else. I highly recommend booking a golf cart! We got one on special so booked it for the 4 days we stayed but it is Totally worth it! We found ourselves just driving around and my kids stayed off their devices so I was happy to drive around the camp. All in all a Great place and I am hopeful we will try out the newer cabins next time close by the lake.

We stayed at Jellystone in Monticello over the 4th, and the fireworks were AMAZING! Lots of fun water activities, especially the giant inflatable obstacle course! Plenty to do for all ages. We also took a side trip to the Field of Dreams Movie Site, which was a cool experience. Overall, a great spot for a fun family getaway!

All I can say hands down is Julie is amazing. The Ranger Retreat was perfect for our group as we didn't want to pull a camper over so we just stayed in there. It was wonderful. This kids have fun! The sandbar behind the house was entertaining for hours. Julie was always willing to go above and beyond to provide snacks from the snack bar and anything else we needed to make our stay enjoyable. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be coming back.

This is the 3rd time being there with family and the worst visit. They had a water pump go out, and it caused most of the park to go without water service and shut down the restrooms. No notice was given to the people tent camping. The activities were not listed on the schedule at the right times. No family evening events on Friday or Saturday. They had a storyline both nights. Did not plan for older children and parents. The kids we had with us were 12 and 13 years old. We were making this vacation for our family. Will not do family vacation here next year.

This place was absolutely amazing. Staff were so nice to the kids. The beach is much fun, and I loved all the toys and merchandise in the ranger station. We stayed in Cindy cabin number two and must I say it was amazing. I can’t think of one thing about this place that was negative in my week being in the area. I must say it was an amazing experience. Keep up the good work and I’ll see you next year!
