Customer Reviews
Location spectacular. Yurt wasn't really clean so I cleaned it and the bed was terrible. However, it was fantastic to have the gas stove and battery packs that the supplies to charge everything daily. Also, the BBQ was nice and large. For the cost there should be usable water. It was almost $200 bucks a night!!! I would rate it a 4 if it was for the awful bed and bedding. I ended up sleeping on top with by sleeping bag and my own pillow. Still leaving with an angry back. I am curious if other yurts have nicer beds and such as mine was a small. 🤷🏼♀️
Spent two nights. First night, nobody slept due to propane leak in the yurt, even with the windows open. The family woke cold, unrested and with pretty bad headaches from the gas. Luckily one of the staff looking over the yurt for the regular care takers fixed the leak. The resort haven't answered our emails about this issue and have ignored this hazardous problem, but still charged us full price.
Beautiful location, but camp hosts need to enforce the rules more strictly. Saw lots of off-leash dogs and food left outside while there is a bear warning for the area. Battery packs were'nt charged when we arrived, and were not changed during our stay. Bathrooms could use a more thorough clean as well... gotta think of it more like camping than a hotel and then you won't be disappointed with amenities.
At the WYA resort RV park you park next to the road when you stay serviced. There is no privacy from the neighbors and the serviced site has no toilets or showers. For that, you have to walk along the road for 1km (and pay), or drive to the unserviced sites. There is no WiFi. For dumping the grey and/or black water, you have to go somewhere else. This is all for the nice price of 78 canadian dollars. Please, don't come to this rip-off RV park.
Loved the scenery. Learned about the locals and how we can support the community. Best Part of our month long “Tour De NW USA&Canada”.
