Great viewpoint. I went at sunset and was so glad I did. Very popular so make sure you leave plenty of time to get a good spot. BTW, there's a special place in hell for the nonsense social media/influencer type who make it their mission to spoil the experience for everyone else by doing intrusive (hilarious) video shoots, flying drones and scooping up earth and rocks to take home and keep in their 'memory palace'. Please get a real life.
This high view point of the marvelous geological beauty is jaw dropping!! The interspersed golden glows of the limestone and the dark color mountains make it look unique. There is a short hike to the dried river at the bottom of the canyons and we hiked with the kids to walk down in the black silt deposited dry river. Looked like a steep hike but the nature of the dirt was gripping. It was a cake Walk and we saw a rainbow atop while climbing back. Absolutely fun hike !!

Formed over millions of years, this unique landscape is a photographer’s dream and a nature lover’s haven. Located near Furnace Creek, it’s easily accessible with a short walk from the parking area to the viewpoint.
A must visit spot in Death Valley NP. It offers beautiful views of mountains, badlands, and river dry-bed. Its a good spot to watch sunset. I also saw a double rainbow.
The panoramic views from Zabriskie Point are absolutely breathtaking. The undulating badlands and colorful rock formations are like nothing you've ever seen before. It's truly a photographer's paradise. If you can make it, watching the sunrise or sunset here is a magical experience. The way the light changes and highlights the landscape is mesmerizing. It's worth the early wake-up call or the wait until dusk. The lookout is just a short walk from the parking area, making it easily accessible for visitors of all ages and physical abilities. The path is well-maintained and offers several spots to stop and take in the view. Despite its popularity, Zabriskie Point has a serene and peaceful atmosphere. It's a great place to relax, take in the natural beauty, and reflect.
