Great camping spot. Reservations: All sites available on a first-come, first-served basis Water: Handpump Bathrooms: pit toilet Fees: $20 per night, includes 1 vehicle. $5 additional fee for 2nd vehicle This is close to the main road but really it’s such a great spot it didn’t bother us at all. I loved sitting down by the river. So peaceful. The camping host Greg was super nice and very knowledgeable about the area. It’s always nice to get great advice from a local. Can’t wait to come back here again.

Stopped by there a few times in the past year. There's a squatter living there who put up hand written signs saying the campground is closed. The national park service and local police apparently don't care.

I haven't camped here in 50 years and it's still perfect. The river runs off of Mt Washington and it's so cold. Love it
