Zigzag Mountain Farm

I stayed in one of the yurts at Zig Zag Mountain Farm with a couple friends and had a wonderful time! The location was the perfect distance from Portland for a quick getaway, and made it easy to get out to trails and lakes nearby (definitely recommend paddle boarding at Trillium Lake!). Our yurt was heated and cozy, and we had a great time connecting with other guests around the fire pit in the evening.

Stopped in here on a quick bike tour from Portland and stayed at one of the campsites. Highly recommended, particularly for touring as the farm's amenities reduce some of the items required. I was able to purchase some fresh veggies from the farm for dinner, good setup for cooking, showers, wifi access, and a lovely view straight up Zigzag Mountain. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great outdoor communal areas and lots of kids taking advantage of that. I'm going back this weekend with my family. There are bunnies!

I stayed in one of the heated yurts in early February and had a great time! The yurt was clean, cozy, and warm. The bathroom and kitchen facilities were great, and the grounds of the farm are really beautiful. Zigzag Mountain Farm is really close to Timberline and other skiing areas on Mt. Hood and many different hikes--made it really convenient to get outdoors! The onsite staff were also really kind and helpful throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend staying here for a winter getaway, and I'm sure it would be great during other seasons too!

Tobais showed us around in the dark did a great job. Very accommodating for our needs it was a unique experience. We did the mile hike today saw they’re fabulous garden. We weren’t there really long time but enjoyed it. The bathrooms were great. The shower was great.

We loved it here! Spent 2 nights at the campsite in our tent. It was very quiet, and the facilities were great. There are private and shared communal bathrooms (with showers!), and an old bus that has been converted into a shared kitchen. Lots of neat spots to hangout on the property. In the main building, you can also purchase basic essentials such as shampoo, toothbrushes, etc. Had a wonderful time.

The place was astonishing, one of the best campgground i have had the chance to go. Fully furnished, everuthing was super clean, the site is worth the detour.
