Such a great place to camp. Perfect for families. And we love that there were a ton of kayaks and paddleboats to borrow at no extra charge. The kids loved the slide and rope swing. So many fun things to do!
Owned by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly referred as Mormons) this is as expected from the church. Great place for families, church activities, reunions and gatherings. Facilities are well maintained and run by couple missionaries and volunteers from the church. Varied activities are available from kayaking/canoeing to archery. No alcohol, smoking/vaping, lewd and unruly behavior allowed. You can’t get any more family friendly and clean fun than this. Kodus to the church for having spaces for members (nonmembers?) to enjoy.
Wonderful campsite. The missionaries serving there are great to work with and so pleasant. So many different things to do.
The accomidations are great for the type of location you are staying at, especially for the prices. The volunteers that run the facility are incredibly kind. Just a heads up the once you get to the dirt road, instructions on Google maps are no longer accurate.
Been going to camp Zion since I was a teenager and have had an amazing experiences and good times every time! Lots of recreation and fun things for all ages of the family. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family friendly campground.
