Ocean Park Resort Introduce

Ocean Park Resort is a charming destination for outdoor enthusiasts seeking a mix of convenience and natural beauty. Nestled in Ocean Park, Washington, this RV park and campground offers a welcoming environment for travelers looking to explore the scenic coastal landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Whether you're arriving in an RV, tent camping, or simply looking for a cozy place to stay, Ocean Park Resort provides a variety of accommodations to suit every traveler's needs.

The resort features spacious sites with full hookups, including electric, water, and sewer services, making it ideal for both long-term stays and overnight visitors. Additionally, the park offers RV parking, tent camping areas, cozy cabins, and even a lodge-style accommodation for those who prefer a more comfortable stay. The pay-per-use amenities, such as showers at just $0.25 for 5 minutes of hot water, make this resort an affordable choice for budget-conscious travelers.

One of the standout features of Ocean Park Resort is its location. Situated near the coast, guests can easily access nearby beaches, hiking trails, and other outdoor activities. The resort itself offers a small store with essentials, making it a self-contained destination where you can enjoy nature without needing to venture far for basic supplies.

Customers have shared mixed feedback about their experiences at Ocean Park Resort. Many appreciate the affordability of the showers and the friendly staff. One visitor praised the resort's excellent service and described the pricing as a great value. However, there have also been instances where guests feel the park's marketing may not fully align with reality, such as the amount of shaded sites. Another customer highlighted issues with lighting in their area at night.

While most visitors find the resort to be clean and well-maintained, there have been a few negative experiences reported, particularly regarding interactions with staff. One guest shared a frustrating story about encountering rude behavior from the general manager during their stay, which left them dissatisfied and concerned about the resort's policies towards service animals.

The service at Oceanpark Resort is excellent! The showers are the best bargain you'll find at a campground for .25 cents for 5 minutes of hot water, truly! I'm rating the park at a three for two reasons: The website touts it's a shaded property. Not so much. Our site, as were most others we could see, was in the full sun. I'm glad the weather was usual coastal cool. Also, there was a mighty mercury light to illuminate the area where we were parked, at night, all night.

I belong to an organization that comes to Ocean Park once a year, if not more often. I have been staying at Ocean Park Resort for about 15 years or more, and this trip is the last time I will EVER stay there! I have a service dog and showed the woman at check-in. She said everything was fine. About 45 minutes later, there's a knock on the door. I open it. A man is standing there and says I'm the "general manager, " and I want to know what kind of dog you have, what kind of service does it do, and on and on. I told him go to get the letter from my Dr. and her ID card. He proceeds to tell me there is no ID for service digs and the letter from my Dr. doesn't mean anything. I tried to tell him yes it does, and yes, they do. That I paid $200.00 to register her. He waves this piece of paper in my face that says you don't register dogs. I asked if he was calling me a liar, and he proceeded to tell me if I continue to argue with him, he will kick us out. At this point, I am not going to argue with him and go to shut the door. He tries to put his foot in, and I told him if he didn't remove his foot, it could end up bruised. He left. Found out that night, he had treated 3 other couples who were with the same organization very rudely also. I called the people who had booked the rooms and told them all that happened. The Resort will NEVER see our group or SEE any of OUR MONEY AGAIN.!!!! TERRIBLE TREATMENT AND A RUDE MAN!!! 20 plus years of business lost because of him.

So nice when you call and they tell you 5pm and you show up before 5 and they say oh well Really the worst part was her attitude. I literally called ahead, but when I got there, prior to the time that she said I needed to be there by, she opened the door and yelled at me. So I came closer so I could hear her and ask her what the real deal is since I was there prior to the time to be there and she was just extraordinarily rude and seemed very put out by the fact that she even had to talk to me. Ridiculously horrible customer service that lady should probably just retire and not interact with the public at all.

Sadly, this once 'good' hotel and RV Park continues to be in decline. We had hoped the new owners would bring needed repairs and improvements. Still no pool, no sauna, no camping, no dogs over 40 pounds, and few, if any, kind words from the owners.

We had a very nice visit at the resort. It was probably one of the most relaxing stays we have had in a very long time. The room was so nice. We didn't even sleep on the regular bed. We used the Murphy bed in the livingroom Not only was it one of the most comfortable needs I've slept on, but it had a divine ocean view. We will return again and stay longer next time.
