Hampton Inn & Suites Anaheim Garden Grove

We had the pleasure of staying here for 6 nights recently for our family trip to go to Disneyland. Affordable, not super far from Disney, and the breakfast was such a big help with the kids with a great selection for everyone. The Italian shaved ice next door was super great and having target a close walk was also a bonus! The staff were always friendly and helpful, rooms were great though the one bed was a tad squeaky for my liking. Overall we are very happy we chose this hotel. Thank you everyone for making this a really lovely vacation.

I was excited to stay at this hotel due to it being Hilton brand, its proximity to Disneyland and the complimentary breakfast. First, I’d like to acknowledge the staff was great (professional and kind), the included breakfast was a nice touch & the hotel was conveniently close to everything. However, the condition of the rooms was definitely subpar. They need better upkeep at this establishment. The toilets don’t flush well (it was even left dirty when we arrived), the tubs have rusting and there’s damage & staining on carpet and walls (to boot, they still have popcorn ceilings). This truly makes lodging unpleasant and unsettling, to say the least. Like most— we are there to vacation and enjoy ourselves with family or friends. But the poor room conditions hinder our experience and push us away as customers. The rooms urgently need to be remodeled and cleaned properly. I will include some pictures to show I’m not just blowing smoke & trying to bellyache. I acknowledge the staff moved me from one room to another in an attempt to help; but the conditions were the same, so I just let it be to enjoy my family time at Disney. I love Hilton and its brands, but this property really fell short. I will only return here if I’m 100% certain they remedied the currently dilapidated property.

Whenever i stay at this location we have a splendid time. Fast and easy check ins, i love that you need key card to use the elevators for extra security and to get in after 10 pm!!! The place is always clean and room are spacious, beds are comfy. Love the breakfast area, great options all the time, but this past visit one of you employees shined! His attitude was genuinely nice, not that face nice you see in customer service, Rodrigo might have just been part of the breakfast service but he keep his areas clean, made sure every table was trash free, a smile on his face all the time. The way hi interacted with guess was excellent and management need to consider training him for a front of the house position! He is an example.

So we never have any problems with Hilton. Until this one. I wish I took pictures…. Lobby was nice. Service was great. Location is 10 mins away from Disney. Allll nice stuff. The hotel room was alright… As soon as we going, Immediately we see future broken, the table were slanting. The closet was completely broken. I mean we don’t use it but the fact they put us in a room with a broken closet with broken glass and you couldn’t close it. Another spot was a broken wall for the bathroom Was completely miss the trim, wall was lifting off with damage to the tile was lifting out. The worst part of it all. There was cockroaches coming out of the shower… I don’t think this one was for us

This hotel location was awesome to be able to LYFT to Disneyland. Very safe as far as after hours check in. Very helpful and attentive staff. The hotel engineer was very polite as he was cleaning the carpets near the elevator. Very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable.
