Customer Reviews
This hotel is conveniently located and I found our room to be clean and cozy. The bathrooms are small but they come well equipped with dove lotions, body wash and sharp/condt. The hotel staff were the absolute best! We were able to check in early and gave us the run down of the hotel and inquired if we were going to use the ferry as they had helpful tips. Gave excellent food recommendations, always smiling, attentive, and the bar tender Sarge was always one step ahead and also offered to go waters- we heard other patrons complimenting the food as well. I wish I brought my bathing suit as the pool looked great! This will be a place I return too when I come down to Falmouth. Food recs: The flying bridge for dinner was out of this world and amazing service and Moonakis for breakfast a little bit of a drive but worth it.
The rooms are gross. We couldn’t use one bed because of how dirty the sheets were. Black crumbs all over the bed. The comforter hadn’t been washed in ages. It was full of yellow filth. The front desk wasn’t friendly. And the 200$ incidental fee for one night is absurd. Won’t stay here again. The inn on the square is better.
Despite the convenient location of the inn, its proximity to the downtown area, and the easy access to the parking lot for the ferry to Martha's Vineyard, we are finding it increasingly difficult to overlook certain aspects of the property. While the recent upgrade to a king bed suite was a nice gesture, the age of the inn is evident in more ways than one. The building is old, and this has become more of a drawback than anticipated. The most challenging issue is the unpleasant odor that permeates the room and hallways, a sign of the inn’s outdated infrastructure and poor maintenance. It's hard to feel comfortable in a space where the air itself feels stale and unwelcoming. The overall atmosphere detracts from what could have been a relaxing stay, especially considering the premium price paid for the convenience of location. At this point, while the ferry access remains a major perk, the drawbacks of staying here are becoming too difficult to ignore. We are starting to reconsider our future stays at this property, as the trade-off between convenience and comfort is increasingly leaning toward the latter.
This hotel was very disappointing. Our first room was in a very stinky hallway and out sheets had stains. We got a second room that was in dire need of renovation. The rooms are stuffy, the halls are stained and dirty the ice machines were broken. Not what we expect from a Holiday Inn Expess.
Absolutely furious about the low quality of my stay. I initially had relatively minor things to say about the condition of the room (very dark bathroom, stains, house keeping not coming for 2 days, unfinished furniture) and was told 4 separate times that the manager would be reaching out to me they never did. I had to call and BEG that they give me the points I earned on this trip. I only go to IHG and normally love my stays first time ever complaining about a hotel and DO NOT COME HERE THIS PLACE IS A JOKE.
