I was scared after read all the comments but for my was good with the price I paid. The most important the room was clean and no bugs. The bathroom clean. The room doesn’t have carpet, for me is the best because I have allergies to the carpets. Everyday they change my towels and made my bed. So no complain, maybe when I went to eat breakfast at 7:00 scrambled eggs was finished but my family eat the other stuff. Other think i didn’t like was the virtual checking, in this moment is a lot people in our country that needs jobs. So I will prefer to see someone attending me. Only 17 from Parris island.
Absolutely awful. Do not stay here. Smells atrocious, sliding door would not lock, ants, cracks in the walls and in the bathroom walls. We have photos and took video. The chair in the room was so dirty the arms were black from filth and seat was stained. We immediately left. Had to scramble to find something else!
I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson in Beaufort, SC, and had a fantastic experience. Upon arrival, I asked if it was possible to switch my room to one with a marsh view, and the staff quickly accommodated my request with no hassle. The view was absolutely beautiful, adding a relaxing touch to my stay. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and had all the essentials I needed. The staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay, always ensuring that I had everything I needed. The location is great too—close to local attractions and offering peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!
It's an older hotel, and could use a little love but honestly if you're looking for an affordable quiet place to stay this place is great. Check in was super quick and easy with the kiosk, parking was easy, everything in the room worked as it should. No mold, no bugs, room was clean when we arrived. Again it's an older hotel, don't expect luxury but it's worth it for the price.
The use of outsourcing and automation is good in someways, but the way that this franchise location outsourced is absolutely Unacceptable. First, they called me claiming that there was a maintenance issue and my reservation had to be canceled. I spoke with someone over the phone. They said the maintenance issue was corrected, but they needed an updated information. After speaking with the agent, they advise everything was OK with all three of my reservations. At the time of check in they claimed that I did not answer the phone, even though they spoke with my secondary phone number. Not only that this location is not staffed by a physical staffing member but rather someone working at a virtual terminal, and that person in the virtual terminal made zero attempts to try to assist me for an error that they made. I called that same phone number of the hotel again and the employee turned around and said, even though we spoke to you on the secondary phone number, but because you didn’t answer your first phone number that’s why your reservation was canceled. At what point in time does this logic make sense? This was an unprofessional experience and anyone booking here beware The owner of this franchise not only does not care but outsource and use the most inexpensive and ineffective labor as possible to try to garner as much profit as possible, but has zero interest in customer satisfaction
