We stayed at this location for two nights. We booked a Deluxe King bedroom. First impression was that the room was clean and huge, yet so empty. The jacuzzi took up half of the room and it was less than impressive. Although I did state the room looked clean, once we saw things up close it was clear they haven’t seeped cleaned in a while. The tv remote was sticky and dusty. The bedsheets looked mediocre. The jacuzzi looked grimey and the jets looked to be in poor condition. A big issue we had was the bathroom door, it did not lock. It did not lock because the door isn’t aligned. How is that okay? Also, the toilet is literally off center. The room was on the first floor. That was nice. Staff was kind, that’s always appreciated. It’s a standard hotel, I wouldn’t pay for any special upgrades because they’re less than mediocre.

Be sure to register EVERY GUEST to the room otherwise they won't let you use the pool. This includes CHILDREN!! ***EDIT*** Improve by informing guests upon check-in, have a sign posted at the front desk or better yet, stop advertising as Baymont By Wyndham if you're not run by Wyndham because it's posted by Baymont of Wyndham that there is no guest limit that can us the amenities. What money are you losing out on letting children swim if the room is already payed for?

If you want to be harassed, kill bugs, and have black stuff shoot at you in the in-room jacuzzi, then this is a great place to stay. When I first got here, the staff seemed annoyed at my payment method, but we got through it. Maybe an hour later, I get a knock on my door from one of the personnel and am being told I had a noise complaint about my children. 2 of my children were playing the game, quietly! My youngest two were getting their hair done but one was making a bit of noise so, ok. I have all my children sit down. My youngest two, a 1yr old and a 3yr old, start to cry off and on because now they’re stuck having to sit on the bed. I get another knock. The same personal tells me I have another noise complaint and that he can hear my children from downstairs. I asked him what noise since they’re all sitting down. He told me he could hear them crying. Sir, they’re 1 & 3 and they keep getting told to stay on the bed. I would cry too! I told him we would leave but I wanted a refund for my 2 night stay and he told me I’d have to speak w/ his manager. It’s not fair that I paid my money and my children and I can’t even enjoy the room comfortably. I will say, the manager there, she was super understanding and helpful and I truly appreciated that.

Everything was just average. The rooms were okay. Not dirty. Bathroom section was a little small. Not much counter space. Sink outside the shower/toilet area. Shower was very nice, but no bathtub. Shower only. Upkeep overall was fair. Worst part about the rooms is a lack of convenient outlets. Between medical devices and electronic devices, we had difficulty keeping things plugged in. There were no USB ports which is pretty common these days. A little understaffed, especially considering the holiday crowd. 2 staff were bouncing back and forth between checking people out and restocking the breakfast area. Had to frequently ask staff for items like towels at the pool and items at the breakfast bar that had run out. We were only here 2 days. The breakfast area had minimal options. Long lines for the waffles. Only had scrambled eggs as a second option both days. Usually hotels will change up a little. Didn't have hot sauce for the eggs which I find to be pretty standard in most of the hotels I go to when they have eggs.

It was nice that it was close to the beach. That's about where the niceness ends. The room was musty and dirty. We had to buy febreeze in order to stand to be in the room. The hallway and stairway to the room were also musty and smelled like old carpet and basement. We spent ALOT of money to stay in a dirty, musty basement smelling room. The water in the hot tub also smelled like mildew. I wish I had realized there was a Hampton in across the way, had the rooms not been nonrefundable, we probably would have moved over to a new hotel. The elevator to the room was, you guess it, dirty and gross as well. Overall it looks like an overpriced place to stay, right off the highway and that's exactly what it is.
