Alysia kept texting and me to ask me if I was going to run my credit. I informed her that I was worried I would not get approved. She convince me that I should have her run my credit. So o did like an idiot because after that, she never responded. Well have not heard from her until the following day after I text her about submitting a review. Typical sales person where they are all talk and no action or get what they want and throw you to the curb like trash. I will never do business with them again. Be sure to know who you’re dealing with first before you do business with them. Alysia even had the nerve to tell me she had 20 to 30 customers yesterday to take care of. Well she pushed me to run my credit first thing yesterday morning and instead of taking care of me (guess I’m not a customer) she took care of others and had the nerve to tell me she had to take care of 20 to 30 customers. Remember she took on that responsibility as soon as she pushed me to run my credit so to say she was too busy to take care of me is just plain ignorance.
Rod Williams saved the day and the deal. Site unseen, over the phone, we purchased a brand new Forest River ePro travel trailer. As newbies, we needed severe hand holding and Rod did just that. Once on location at Camping World in Vacaville, we were trained and treated with great respect and courtesy. Even after the sale, Rod has been there to take excellent care of us. Happy to be part of the Camping World and Good Sam RV’ers Family!
Went in to look at a unit they had on the website.We decided to purchase the unit. After we signed papers we were informed the unit had not been looked at it was photographed and listed for sale. During the pre delivery inspection they found the unit needed brakes and something was wrong with one of the panels but they could t specify which one. So far we’ve been told the unit would be ready to pick up today Wednesday so we took time off work for delivery then we were told the unit would be ready tomorrow Thursday after multiple phone calls and being hung up on the manager had the receptionist tell me it would be ready Saturday after telling my wife it would be ready Friday. He didn’t have the courage to get on the phone and speak with me himself. There has been no customer service or support since we signed. If you are in the market STAY away from this place. If I had the option to cancel my signed purchase contract I wouldnt have to think twice about it.
If I could give zero stars I would. This is a very shortened version of my experience with them: The first unit that we purchased with them was nearly perfect. There was one small issue with the backing of the couch not staying up properly (not a make or break to us, but they offered to fix it) so the service technician assured us he could have it fixed by the time we were done with the paperwork. We went inside and signed and paid, only to come back out to a hole drilled all the way through the side of our camper with a screw sticking out of the side (photos attached). The service team denied this happening even though I had photo proof that the same morning, the screw was not through the side of the trailer. When attempting to rectify this, I was offered the floor model camper which I was more than happy with, or a patch job on the camper I had already purchased but the patch would come with no warranty. The floor model was missing a bracket that was supposed to be mounted on the side (photo also attached) so I asked Sheldon if they could just order that bracket and we would be happy taking this unit instead. Sheldon told me no, they were not able to ask Keystone for this bracket and that I would have to purchase a whole new griddle set "for a few hundred bucks" if I wanted to have the bracket. I called Keystone directly and they were appalled that Camping World would not have just called them and let them know that the bracket was missing because they would have overnighted it to them for free so they could have installed it before we picked up the camper. Sheldon also offered me a $100.00 Camping World gift card for my troubles, which was even more of a slap in the face as if I would ever want to spend another dime there. When I asked why there would be no warranty if they patched the hole that was drilled into the side of the camper I was told by Sheldon, "Why would we offer you a warranty when you treat us like this?" which to me, was completely out of line and rude. I ended up taking the floor model camper and was shipped the bracket with no hardware about a month later, after calling 3 times because Sheldon never placed the order. Just when I thought we were done, we've had yet another issue arise. After what I have dealt with so far with this Camping World location, this comes as no surprise. Our unit came missing a remote for the heater, which we discovered during our first fall/winter trip, so I contacted Keystone directly since Sheldon at the Vacaville location told us previously that they were not able to contact the manufacturer for missing parts. I was informed this morning when I called Keystone that this information was incorrect and that I should be able to go through the dealer for any of my needs similar to these. She offered to help me once I explained our experience with Camping World and asked for the last 8 of my VIN. I provided her with the last 8 digits listed on all of my Camping World paperwork and she informed me that our unit was never registered as sold and Keystone has no record of us owning this unit. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE looking to buy or service their campers. They made my first buying experience turn into an absolute nightmare.
