I stayed in the Junior Parlor Suite for two nights, and for the amount of points and cash I spent, I would have been better off booking a standard room. The suite offered no upgraded bathroom—just a standard tub that appeared dingy. The overall cleanliness of the room was disappointing. The floors were dirty, the blankets were stained, and the curtains and lampshades had visible grime on them. There was even something on the bathroom floor. Additionally, the outdoor table wobbled so badly that it was impossible to sit and enjoy breakfast. While the staff downstairs was friendly and the beach was beautiful, the condition of the room did not meet my expectations. For the price and points spent, I expected much better—honestly, a Hampton Inn would have been a nicer experience. I will not stay in a room like that again.
I'm so disappointed staying here and I will be asking to refund my second night. I would leave this evening but it's already 8pm and I have nowhere to go. I came in for a weekend long work conference. My first room smelled WEIRD. Musty and mixed with something. I also immediately heard the hustle and bustle of the elevator and knew it wouldn't work for me to get restful sleep. I was moved to a different room upon request. Still smelled...off. I then realized what it is. The stench of dog. I'm allergic to dogs and there are "service dogs" walking around all over this place. Like, I literally ran into at least 15 In the halls, in the elevator, in the lobby just going up and down to check in and back down to order dinner. It's like every single person has a "service dog.' One barked and lunged at me in the elevator. These aren't trained and well behaved service animals, these are people's pets that they think is ok to bring along with them. I hear them barking in rooms and now my nose is runny and I have a migraine. Additional, my $20 burger was overcooked when I asked for medium. And the TV is so low-definition that it looks like I'm playing a VHS tape. Maybe some people don't care because they aren't in the room much, but I didn't come here to party. I came for business and to relax. I specifically booked a decent hotel on the beach to have a nice stay and I feel like I could have better stay at the Hampton Inn by the airport. I realize I sound like a whiner but I really expected more. I will not choose to stay here again in the future.
**Guest Review: Hilton Hotel – Front Desk Service (Skye)** I recently stayed at the Hilton Hotel, and I have to say that the customer service at the front desk was exceptional, largely thanks to Skye. From the moment I arrived, Skye greeted me with a warm smile and a welcoming attitude. He was incredibly efficient, quickly checking me in and making sure I had all the information I needed for my stay. I appreciated his professionalism, but what really stood out was his genuine kindness and willingness to go above and beyond. He offered great recommendations for local dining and even printed out directions to a few attractions I wanted to visit. It’s rare to encounter such personalized attention, and it made my stay feel truly special. Skye’s attention to detail didn’t stop at check-in. Throughout my stay, whenever I needed assistance—from asking for extra towels to securing a late checkout—he was always quick to respond with a solution and did so with a positive, can-do attitude. I was impressed by how well he managed the front desk, handling multiple guests with ease while never making anyone feel rushed. It’s clear he takes pride in his role and genuinely cares about the guest experience. Hilton is lucky to have someone like Skye, and I’d definitely return, knowing that I can count on excellent service from him and the rest of the team.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the experience was so good. The entire staff was so friendly and ready to help in anyway. We ordered room service two different times and the food arrived hot. The valet service is a must! Worth the extra few dollars a day. The only “negative” I would have is that you did have to go to the front desk for beach/pool towels. Our view was amazing! Was able to watch the sunset from our balcony each night.
We just left the this hotel. The beds are not what they say. The queen’s measurements are way under what the average mattress is. They are basically a true double bed. The hotel will say they don’t have anything under a queen. But they definitely aren’t. The ice machines done work on each floor (a worker said they never all work) and the heated pool and hot tub didn’t work. Maintenance said it was due to a propane hose that came undone and kept telling everyone outside it would be fixed every 30 min but it never was. Pool towels on sat were non existent. The pool bar and outside bathrooms were no in service with out of order signs with employees saying they don’t want to clean them off season. Next time we’ll just air bnb somewhere for the price we paid
