Mesa Campground is a glorious place to stay! The cabins were perfect! The rec center, fires, and showers were so nice! Lovely stay…wonderful hosts! Couldn't have been more relaxing or perfect! Thank you!

I just stopped by to take a shower after being in the mountains for several days. The showers were clean with hot water and very affordable! I'll bring my travel trailer back to stay here sometime because it looks like a really nice place.

DO NOT book a tent campsite here. The campsites are under street lamps, and there is a TON of noise and additional light at night from cars, dogs barking, babies crying, and people talking right outside your tent. We stayed at different campsites the past 3 nights, and all of them were better. The people here are not respectful at all. If you need a decent night’s sleep, go anywhere else.

I made reservations to stay at Mesa Campground in March 2024 for a three-day stay in July 2024. All was good, then in April 2024, the Highway 50 bridge over the Gunnison River was closed due to structural issues. I was planning on traveling from the west, but now, due to the bridge closure, I would have to go hours out of the way with a 5th wheel trailer. I contacted Mesa Campground to cancel, which was three months ahead of time and well within their cancellation policy. I was told there was an issue that didn't allow the refund to be returned to my credit card, so the owners would have to send me a check. Well, nearly two months later and countless emails, and I still don't have a refund or a response from the owners. I can't comment on the campground itself since I haven't been there, but the employees have been very responsive, just the owners are ghosting me concerning my valid refund. Beware. June 17th update: Still no refund or contact from the owner. I'm in the process of reporting them to the Better Business Bureau. Nice service to a retired military member and disabled veteran! June 28th update: Finally received the full refund for my reservation, despite taking two and a half months. Thank you to Gloria for all of her help.

Such a great camping experience with extremely sweet and helpful staff. Paul even helped us start our fire one morning for camp breakfast! Had the best stay and will definitely be back! 100% recommend this place. Easy access to Gunnison and Blue Mesa!
