The place is great! Very convenient for beach & boardwalk. The pool would be wonderful if they allowed the amount of ppl that stay at the hotel room into the pool. They want $40 per person & give you 2 less wristbands per hotel room.

We stayed in a 3 Bedroom Suite, the room was very big and spacious & had a nice view. You couldn't ask for a better location, right on the boardwalk. The staff was friendly. My 3 kids loved it and had a great week. The rooms are tired and could use some updating, but they are relatively clean. The WiFi was slow, and the TVs depend on streaming, so that was a little annoying. Overall I would absolutely stay at the resort again. You would easily pay $1,500 more for the week to rent a home that is of similar size and location....and good luck finding a 3 bedroom suite at a high end hotel for less than $1,000 per night.

Me and my family came here for vacation. We have been coming to wildwood for years. This year we chose the montego. The rooms were big and spacious, and I loved the old school feel. I think if they leaned into the old school aesthetic a bit harder, they would really rock it well! I LOVE the heated pool and the hot tub. Slides were cool too, with a bar and food and plenty of seating all in a kid friendly / safe design. Only a couple things I was a little disappointed with, but not bad enough to take a star. They have advertised that they have an arcade. I found there to be no arcade sadly. Just a giant space where one probably used to be, which is a GREAT area for one, right above the pool area. Missed revenue/ customer satisfaction. Also the rooms and ceiling tiles could have been a little cleaner. Some chairs needed a little cleaning. Didn’t see any bugs or mold though. And we had a parking discrepancy with our vehicles since we had 2 vehicles and the parking policy wasn’t very clear. After speaking with the manager though, he immediately resolved the issue, so I can’t complain. Accidents happen. And last thing was, the elevator was pretty slow. Everyone trying to leave at the exact same time on Sunday, leads to you waiting for the elevator to empty out for about 5 cycles before there’s space for you. But overall was an amazing hotel with great amenities and great potential!! Constructive feedback: -Clean rooms just a little better -Clarify policy on arcade -Clarify parking policy with larger rooms of guests to avoid discrepancies (I suggest 2 passes minimum for 5 or over people) -Lean into the old school aesthetic. Think Doo-Wop diner - Stagger the check out times of guests if possible to avoid large build ups of elevator waiting. Thanks and we will be back soon!

I would call this review "Hotel from Hell" DO NOT GO THERE!!! You better walk a few more minutes to the beach than stay at this dump. When we arrived and opened the room door, we realized that they were not the room we reserved. The rooms were not clean, there was still hair from other guests on the pillows. They probably just put them back in the drawers. We were promised newly renovated rooms but got the old 80's style room. Don't get me wrong the 80's look was not the problem but the cleanliness was. The staff at the reception was rude when we asked for some towels or an extra blanket for the pull-out couch, but they told us to ask the cleaning crew on one of the six floors. whenever we were passing by they were not looking, no smiles, nothing. Except for the younger boy who did our check-in, he was very nice! The elevators were quite slow, it could take up to 20 minutes to get one. The wifi was not working most of the time. When it's raining, it's long. Good thing we had board games. The lifeguard at the pool was playing games and listening to music rather than doing his job, so we couldn't go on the slides. The first day we were there he was at the bottom of the slides telling us when it was ok to go, but later that week he was on his phone, not even watching the pool. There was a leak in the gym but the staff didn't care about it. The hotel is a dump but it's close to the beach and they know they will be full anyway, so why make changes and make it better when they make money renting overpriced rooms?

Just came home from vacation today. First and for most our door was broken and wouldn’t even lock had to sit in room for a hour for maintenance and could t leave because all our stuff was in the room. When we asked the lady at the desk when they were coming to fix because we were hungry from our travel she got nasty and said he is a busy person. Then my kids were so excited about indoor slides and play area, but they are barely ever open to use. The sooo great Tiki bar was never open the time we were there. The room was smelly when we got there and on top of that the beds are horrible they are so old my back was killing me the whole vacation. I would have to be pretty desperate to go back there. It is a shame because it has potential to be the best hotel in town. The only things that were good was the location and the restaurant that’s connected that is not affiliated with the hotel. Adam’s food is a must try. I hope they fix all these issues, because while we were there none of these issue were even attempted to be fixed. I am very disappointed and wish I chose another location.
