I was here last year for a couple of weeks towards the end of the season and I absolutely loved it. Halloween here was so much fun. This year I came back as a seasonal. Lots of free activities to enjoy, they even provide a weekly schedule of all the activities. There is a lake, a pool, a small movie theater that plays free family friendly movies, bring your own snacks. Any packages delivered to the office are sorted and your names written on it in large bold letters. There is miniature golf, basketball tennis etc etc. there is an activity center that offers activities for the children as well as adults. The ladies there are so sweet. Bingo night twice a week for adults only. If you have kids, no worries the movie theater is right next door. So while your children watch a movie, moms can play bingo. I will let you know that there is a quiet time( no loud noise, no golf carts or bikes outside) it begins at 11pm til 8 am. They do allow golf carts( but safety first) no speeding. There are 4 comfort stations with showers and bathrooms, two of them have washers and dryers. Several Doggie parks for our 4 legged friends. The campground is maintained very well. I am in Awe of how management runs this place.I can go on and on but you should check it out for yourselves.

Was once a long term seasonal camper and even worked at Seashore when it was still family owned. Two weeks ago, I came back to as I loved staying there as a kid, teen, and young adult but much has changed since it has become Sun Retreats . New ownership is no longer about the family vibe but about nickel and diming you every chance they get. I have never seen this place so empty in prime time summer, the middle of July and now I know why. Sun Retreat has taken all of the linen services from all of the high priced house and cabin rentals, they took away all of the trash cans from the streets so you have to go back find the dumpsters by yourself, and if you did want to stay for the season your fee would now be 8,000 which is absolutely ridiculous. Not to mention the added nightly resort fees, which I’m not even sure what those are for. Prime example of what terrible big companies do to awesome family owned businesses.

Tent camped here for the 2nd year in a row with multiple families in adjacent tent sites. All of us have kids ranging from 2-16 years old. Check-in is fast & easy. The front desk staff is friendly, responds quickly, and there is always multiple staff inside. The Lake is a blast, probably our favorite part (watch out for the red slide), the inground pool is sufficient to stay cool and clean, bathhouse qty and locations are well maintained, the snack bar / grill at the pool is well priced and the food is actually really good. Sounds odd to say this is one of the best BBQ chicken pizzas we've ever had and this is where it came from ? On property convenience store has everything you would need. The property felt safe, reasonably priced, and there is plenty to do. We would stay here again.

Nice camping experience overall, but I can only give it 1 star due to the issues we encountered and the staff's failure to address and acknowledge their mistake, placing us in a hazardous position. After a one-hour rainstorm, our site was flooded with 4 inches of water because their drainage system was clogged. The security guard approached us aggressively and unhelpfully, asking what we expected him to do. He even stated that it was safe to go into the water with the 30-amp cable submerged. I immediately told my kids and wife to stay away from the site. Although I complained, it felt like they didn't care at all. I ended up resolving the problem myself with the help of a very kind and helpful janitor who assisted us in unclogging the drainage wall. This is a reply to the response of your team that the fault is to blame on the rain and my own behavior: I am including some pictures of the situation to provide context and clarity. The reason I initially called was due to the significant safety concern posed by the submerged 30 and 15 amp cables, which made me afraid to leave my camper. I sought assistance in unclogging your drainage system, specifically the drainage wall. I did not insult anyone or raise my voice. Instead of providing assistance, your security guard approached me aggressively, jumping out of his cart, coming within two inches of my face, and yelling at me, which made me feel threatened. I asked him to step back and explained that I was the one who should be upset, not him. When I asked how we could solve the drainage issue, he repeatedly responded with, “What do you want me to do?” At that point, I gave up on him. Fortunately, a janitor happened to pass by, and with his help, we quickly found a solution. The primary issue here is that the security guard, whose role should be to ensure customer safety and deescalate problems, instead created additional conflict and danger. He also recklessly stated that it was safe to walk through the water despite the electrical cables, which put my family and me at risk. Furthermore, while you acknowledged that the drainage system was clogged, you seemed to deflect responsibility by attributing the issue solely to the rain. This was not a severe weather event, and the lots around us were dry after just an hour of rain, indicating that the problem was due to poor drainage maintenance. Legal Responsibility: The reason I first called was because I was scared to get out of my camper with my many 30 and 15 amp cables submerged. This poses a severe electrocution risk. The security guard’s suggestion that it was safe to put our feet in the water with submerged electrical cables was legally and morally irresponsible, putting my family and me in significant danger. Ethical Conduct: Your security guard's behavior was unacceptable. He jumped out of his cart, came within two inches of my face, and started yelling at me, creating an aggressive and confrontational situation. As someone responsible for customer safety, his job is to de-escalate problems and provide solutions, not to create more problems. His aggressive demeanor and unhelpful attitude are contrary to ethical standards expected in the hospitality industry. It appears that you are unwilling to fully take responsibility for the incident. Given the circumstances, I believe a refund is warranted. More importantly, I request that you acknowledge the mistakes and inappropriate behavior of your staff, particularly the aggressive and hazardous actions of the security guard. Even if he has been with you for many years and is a friend, it seems he may be causing more problems than he resolves. Thank you for considering this feedback. I hope it leads to meaningful improvements in your service and safety standards. Sincerely,
