We stayed here for the first time over labor day. I absolutely loved the pool and hot tub! On our way out, we found out they do Halloween weekends, so we booked again for the last weekend in October. It did not disappoint! They had many fun activities, a costume contest, site decorating contest, trick or treat, and even a hayride to their own haunted trail! My family had an absolute blast! I was pretty amazed at how all out some of this campsites went with decorating. Super fun weekend! If you are booking, keep in mind that some of the campsites are a little narrow and tight. If you get a tight one, walk around and scope out which ones you would like for next time. We will be back for sure!

Was down here for a fund raiser. We stayed in one of the little homes. Overall place was very accommodating. Staff was very helpful and the pool, kids pool and hot tub was very relaxing. Our 9 and 4 year old boys had a great time. Would highly recommend.

The good first- Beautiful camp grounds, quiet and peaceful. Loved how cute the little cottage was with the screened in front porch. Even with how small it was it still felt like enough room. Unfortunately now the bad- Our cottage was so dirty, dog hair everywhere. Opened the sofa bed to more hair and the mattress cover was muddy. There was hair in the shower, and the bed frames we cruddy dirty. The steps to the bunkbed had dirty feet print on them. I felt gross sleeping on the bed. I'm actually glad we had to bring our own linens as I would not have trusted ones if they were provided. We called the office and they had house cleaning come out the next day to fix the mess. They did vacuum the inside of the couch and changed the mattress cover but that was it. The shower was still dirty and now had a foot print in it. There was trash and pills under the pull out sofa. I don't think they ever clean under the furniture. Our socks were so dirty from walking around on the "clean" floors. Upon check out we informed the lady behind the desk of what was not taken care of. She went to tell the manager who decided not to come out and talk to us she just said they took pictures to show they cleaned it. I felt like it was just brushed off. Also they should warn you the water there smells like complete ass. You turn the faucet on and smell rotten eggs. I enjoyed most of the trip but will not be back. Had the manager come and to talk to us maybe I would have considered coming back.

My family has been camping for 30+ years. This was our first and last time at SUN outdoors in Cape May. Here are my thoughts. 1) $300 a night for a cabin that includes nothing, no towels, no bedding, no toiletries, is a bit excessive. I have taken Cruises for less. 2) The cabin was worn, the floor had rips in the bathroom that were tacked back together, the bed was horrible, the furnishings were outdated. 3) The staff...... Of all the people that I interacted with and saw interacting with other guests were very rude and condescending except for MaKailigh (not sure of spelling). 4) The Pool was ice cold. 5) The prices of items in the store were so outrageous it was laughable. 6) The idling diesel trucks are disgusting, they sit at the exit and idle for 15-20 minutes at a time and they stink. Be warned future campers, this is not a great place.

So. Many. Cars. Everywhere. There are waaaay too many people permitted here. The roads are way too tight. The sites are so extremely close together and then there's multiple cars per site so they're parked all over the place sticking out into the roads and blocking sites. I came back to my site to find someone else's vehicle parked in front of my trailer hitch. They moved it at 5:30AM and woke us all up because their vehicle was literally just feet away from my trailer and sounded like it had no muffler. And of course they let it idle for 15 minutes before leaving. To get my trailer out of the spot, I had to ask to have 3 other cars moved because the turn is so tight and the roads so narrow. I couldn't even hitch up without them having to move their cars. The quality of the people at the campground is not good. I had someone confront me at the gate, wanting to fight me, because they tried to sneak in behind me and I didn't let them. Literal screaming kids and people in golf carts just letting the back up buzzers go off while they have a casual shouting conversation with one of the 500 family members with them. I didn't have any experience with the workers being rude, but I get why some of the workers may be surly when the customers are so poorly behaved. I don't blame them. Edit: Yes, I did bring some of the issues to the front desk, like the guy who wanted to fight me and snuck through the gate. Also discussed having to have neighbors move so I could get out. What shouldn't have to be discussed is the excessive amount of vehicles the campground permitted in. You know it's too much if you allow three cars and two golf carts to all be at one tiny shed-sized cabin. And then it's every cabin on the street like that so that it's like a city street on both sides with cars completely lining every inch of the street. The excessive amount of people permitted should also not have to be discussed. You're allowing it. The extra cars pay a fee and the extra guests pay a fee, so it's pretty evident why you're allowing it. But don't get mad when you get a bad review for sacrificing customer experience for the extra dollars.
