We loved this place! We have been to Moab twice a year for the past 10 years! This is our favorite place out of all that we have stayed! Pablo Carlos, Diego are super nice and sweet! They helped us a lot and gave us different options and great places to eat! They have breakfast every morning and its actually really good! They allow pooches, they have a laundry room, lots of parking. The pool, hot tub, gym, doggie park, and they have bathrooms in the gym! This place is sooo great, we go to Moab every year and when we go back we will stay here.
My girlfriend and I were alarmingly awoken at 6 am when a hotel employee entered our room, turned on the light, and went into the bathroom. Multiple times, I asked who was in our bathroom very loudly and I did not receive a response. I then got out of bed and opened the main entrance to our room since I had no idea who entered the bathroom and knocked on the bathroom door to tell the person again that they were in the wrong room. After knocking on the bathroom door and telling the person that they were in the wrong room- he told me to hold on a minute. After he exited my bathroom, he informed me that his manager said that he could use our restroom and that there was a mixup with the room numbers. He did not seem concerned at all about how much he had scared us. After he left, my girlfriend went into the restroom and accidentally stepped in his pee that was next to the toilet. We immediately gathered our things and when we stopped by the front desk to talk the assistant manager on duty, there didn’t seem to be any remorse or concern for what occurred. To be clear, I understand that mistakes happen and that the man did not pose a threat to us, but there was absolutely no sincere apology or concern expressed by the staff member who entered our room or by the assistant manager who was on duty. The entire incident, particularly the response by the hotel employees, was very shocking. The employee didn’t just accidentally open our hotel door- he entered our room, could see that we were in the bed, and then used our bathroom and did not extend a sincere apology after seeing how much he had scared us.
We had an extremely concerning experience at this hotel. My girlfriend and I were awoken at 6 am when a hotel employee entered our room, turned on the light, and went into our bathroom. We repeatedly asked who was in our bathroom, but received no response. I then got out of bed, knocked on the bathroom door, and told the person they were in the wrong room. After a moment, he finally said “hold on,” and when he exited, he informed us that his manager had told him he could use our bathroom due to a mix-up with the room numbers. He did not seem concerned at all about how much he had scared us. To make matters worse, after he left, I accidentally stepped in a puddle of his urine next to the toilet. We immediately gathered our things and went to speak to the assistant manager on duty, who showed no remorse or concern for what had happened and proceeded to defend the employee saying “he trusts him.” We understand that mistakes happen and that the employee didn’t pose a threat, but there was absolutely no sincere apology or concern from him or the assistant manager. The lack of care from the staff was completely shocking and left us feeling disrespected and unsafe.
On October 11, 2024 at the end of a 2 day stay, my wedding band, which I accidentally left in the room, was stolen. I am just sick and saddened by the whole situation and how it was handled. When you pay an expensive premium for a room, you expect professional and honest care. The ring is unique in that it is rose colored gold and has 3 embedded diamonds. The next morning my wife and I enjoyed an early breakfast and returned to the room where we stayed until checkout. We had no visitors so one of 2 things occurred which is not good. The individual who cleaned the room did not do a thorough job therefore missed the ring or kept the ring. Or the guest(s) who took possession of the room that was inadequately cleaned after us, came across the ring and kept it. What is more interesting is how I was handled until Zach ( I assume a manager) intervened. It was clear from the way the other staff handled the situation, that guests usually are from out of town, leave and do not return to the property to hold anyone accountable for their stolen items. I say this because the staff’s consistent response was we cleaned the room, we did not find anything, we can’t do anything about it. No one, including Zach ever asked for a description of the ring. How can you honestly and seriously look for something if you don’t have a description of the item you’re looking for? When we called to inquire about the ring, the lady at the front desk who clearly lacked any professional patience or know-how past checking guests in, got flustered and hung up on me, never to answer the phone again. My wife and I then decided to return to the hotel to inquire about the wedding band in person. The second individual I dealt with, the attendant with missing teeth on duty was more than suspicious. He was adverse to doing anything that could help us. He was either confused or lied, because he said they looked on Friday for the ring, we had not called until Saturday. I asked if he could check and see who cleaned the room. He was elusive, uncooperative, and strange in his behavior. We asked if we could check the room, he said it was occupied. Shortly thereafter, we learned it was not rented and I was able to search the room. Once again, how can you honestly look for something when you don’t have a description? Please beware that rooms at this hotel might not be thoroughly cleaned (I found a beer bottle cap on the floor but no ring). It appears that some employees believe that since guests can afford to stay there, they have more than they do and therefore it's ok to keep your valuable items. Their motto must be “Finders Keepers, Losers Weepers.”
I went to check in and during the process I had reserved two rooms one for me and my family and one for my parents. I asked “are we able to be next to each other” I was then scolded, yes scolded by the gentleman that I didn’t put that in the notes when I reserved it and was causing him to do extra work. Also he told me to sign the screen so I did and my dad did the 2nd one and then we got yelled at again because I was supposed to sign it twice. Not what I was hoping for at the beginning of our trip. I would not return.
