Clarksville RV Resort By Rjourney in Clarksville, TN, has faced significant criticism for declining maintenance and service quality since being acquired by Rjourney. Reviews highlight issues with cleanliness, unkempt grounds, and unreliable services like water and propane. We come here often since we have family in Clarksville. Under the previous owner, the campground was clean, well maintained, dog park was great, place was beautifully landscaped, the owners took pride in the campground. However each time since the camp has gotten worse and worse. When we arrived a few days ago, we were told there was an issue with the water but it would be fixed before they closed, the next day they had no propane…there are no poop bags at the dog park. There is a plastic rake and shovel for scooping. This morning when I grabbed it to clean up after my dog it was filled with soft, runny excrement. I scooped up my dog’s poop but almost threw up with this disgusting rake and shovel. Where are the bags? During another trip, while driving in and trying to get to our site, we ran into an unavoidable mud pit on one side of our camper. The mud drenched our tire and side of our camper. Many of the sites need more gravel, also the grass is often not cut in the dog park and in fenced area of the campstore. It looks very unkempt. It is hard to believe that Clarksville doesn’t offer a decent campground. Rjourney you can do better!! Your typical story of a locally owned business being bought out by corporate greed. This park used to be a dream when it was locally owned and family operated. Now it is filthy & unmaintained. Staff is rude and uneducated about operating an RV park. Just yesterday I watched several Campers get turned away from filling propane the day before a xtream winter storm. The park reasoning was they had no one licensed to fill propane. We were told to come back at 4pm and someone would be there. At 4pm no one showed up and now today the office is closed and the winter storm is about to start hammering us. Do yourself a favor and avoid this trash corporately owned park at all costs!

Disappointing Experience Clarksville Rv Resort I recently had the opportunity to try Clarksville RV Resort , and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. First and foremost, the quality did not meet my expectations. Communication from the resort with a water cut off time. Had plans for touring the Bell witch caves and could not take showers because the water was cut off. No hand soap in the bathrooms to wash your hands just a bottle of hand sanitizer. Bathrooms not clean and very dirty. Dust from the gravel roads blazing with no drive slowly or a speed limit sign. Laundry to wash 3.5 a load and 4.50 to dry . The machines are out dated so be prepared for small loads. Office hours posted Monday -Friday and they are actually closed on Mondays. Additionally, customer service left much to be desired. The water was communicated to be shut off at 12pm but it was actually cut off at 11am so had to kill half the day waiting to take a shower . Then the water was turned back on with no communication, only found out when I went to turn the water on . Overall, I was really looking forward to staying here but never again . **Rating: ★★☆☆☆** --- Feel free to fill in the brackets with specific details about your experience!
We were passing through for one night in a 42ft motorhome towing, I reserved same day. I requested pull through, was put in site 01, it was perfectly level, easy in and out. Right off of I-24, traffic noise wasn’t bad. We will definitely stay again if passing in our travels.
We were booked for a four night stay in our fifth wheel. Into the 2nd night watching the news we found ourselves to be in a red zone for hurricane Helene. We went to the office to ask to have our remaining 2 days changed. Give us credit and we would come back when there was no threat of extreme weather coming. We were told they wouldn't do that for us. I contacted R Journey also as they are the company you book your stay through. Gilbert told me the owner is on site and to contact her. I went back to the office and from the receptionist she showed me the cancellation policy. It stated it shall be amended in the event of a natural disaster (i.e. blizzard, HURRICANE, wildfire etc) (Ok, so why am I not being refunded or issued credit??) I would need to talk to Sharron when she comes in. I told the receptionist to leave a message to have Sharron call me asap when she gets in. SHARRON never called me! What horrible customer service!!! We did leave the campground the 2 days early with no refund issued to us. Our safety was the number one priority. Now Sharron has only herself to thank for this bad review of her campground and not working with us. It is really a shame how good customer service just doesn't seem to exist anymore. I also noted on their website for September and October if you pay for 2 nights you get a third night free. hmmmm...that didn't happen either.
