We booked the suite with kitchen and trust me it was amazing and so worth every penny. We could not have had a better vacation! We stayed here for 6 nights and 7 days with two kids in November and had a blast going all over. The hotel has beach toys for the beach you can borrow, they have beach towels for sale, an outdoor salt water pool, and tons of other amenities. Literally anything you need they will gladly help with! Thank you so much to the staff at Homewood Suites By Hilton for making this trip so memorable! Also side note, we went to the boardwalk and another hotel sales guy tried to get us to take a tour of their hotel, boasting it was going to be so much more affordable than the number he guessed we had to have paid to be at Homewood. It was our pleasure to confirm that our entire stay was half what he expected! Seriously, Homewood suites our stay was fantastic! Thank you!

Great Hotel. The lady at the counter was there when we got there on New years eve (day), she was there all night, she worked the breakfast buffet the next morning, then was back at the front desk the whole day and into the night again. Even after all those hours, she was still very sweet, helpful, always had a smile on her face, and my wife and I were very impressed. I think she needs a raise! That kind of customer service will make us come back for sure.

Where do I even begin to unravel my experience at Homewood Suites? I genuinely sought to find a silver lining, but this stay has unfolded as one of the most disappointing encounters I've ever had, cementing my decision to never return to this hotel. To kick things off, let's talk about breakfast. The spread was undeniably lackluster and far from what I’d expect from a hotel of this caliber. The options were scarce—just a few meager items, like stale bagels and what they referred to as a pork burrito, though it hardly resembled anything appetizing. The juice was served from a dispensed container that I couldn't help but notice had an unsettling layer of grime, clearly neglected for far too long. Disappointed and unwilling to risk my health, I opted to purchase a juice from the front desk along with a pint of ice cream—an exorbitant $11 for a small treat! Unfortunately, after my purchase, I discovered that the juice contained an allergen I react to. Although the drink was unopened, my request to exchange it was met with a frustrating reluctance from the staff. The atmosphere of the hotel felt tightly wound, and as a Gold member, I was astonished by the lack of any typical benefits that should have been afforded to me. Then there was the cleanliness of our room, which left much to be desired. The entire space was a disheveled mess, and I was appalled to discover dog hair covering everything from the baggage trolley to the elevator. This hotel clearly requires a significant overhaul and, more importantly, an intense deep cleaning. My stay was a constant battle against allergies—forcing me to rely on Benadryl to stave off a potential trip to the hospital—definitely not how I envisioned relaxing during my vacation. The refrigerator in our suite was equally distressing; it was grimy, and the silverware and dishes were in a state that could only be described as appalling. This degree of uncleanliness is utterly unacceptable and starkly contrasts with what I had anticipated. I had also requested a late checkout, fully understanding that it hinges on availability. After checking the system myself, I could see there were open slots. Yet, my inquiry at the front desk was met with frustrating ambiguity when I asked why it hadn’t been offered to me as a Gold member. The response was baffling: “I asked the housekeeping manager, and she said because she said so.” This dismissive attitude left me feeling completely overlooked. In the end, I had to hastily pack up my entire family and our perishable items from the fridge, under the assumption they would safely store them. Instead, they abruptly reversed course and insisted I store everything in my car. This lack of coherent communication resulted in significant losses for me; I was initially informed to inquire about late checkout in the morning, only to later hear a firm no from the manager. Overall, this entire experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth, compelling me to share my story and caution others against a stay at this hotel.

The front office staff isn't too friendly. Polite but the moment you request anything they act like you are bothering them. For the record I am diamond and visited in Jan (off season for the beach) I had booked a week prior and first the agent hemmed and hawed because I arrived at 11:58 and early check in isn't supposed to be till noon. Then I asked if since the hotel is half empty if I could get a diamond upgrade. I was essentially ignored. Then I mentioned my preference that is on my profile of highest floor away from elevator. She said "let's see if this room is okay first." The room? ADA (handicapped accessible) 2 doors from the elevator. I just don't get it. Hotels workers in general seem to be upset at the people that literally are paying their salary. I totally get not receiving an upgrade just state that in a way that makes sense. Because I arrived early no other room available or would you like to wait or we are sold out or just give the upgrade because it's not costing you anything and obviously I'm spending thousands of dollars a year with your brand. Oh and previously I have worked for 7 different hotels so am very familiar with most front end processes outside of Hilton. Anyways the property and location is great the staff isn't bad just not gonna win any awards. If they can at least pretend they aren't bothered by you staying with them this would be an exceptional property. Update: Management reached out promptly and addressed my concerns. After having stayed in a doubletree in New York where Management's response was to question my authenticity it was nice to be acknowledged. I have added one star for the service.

I recently stayed here with my family for Christmas break and the rooms were very neat and updated only problem is I kept finding hair on the floor, breakfast was not so great it was the same thing the whole week as well as pork being the only option. Receptionist were not informative about attractions around the area as well one not knowing they had a fire pit (only because we needed someone to turn it on). I did like the location and the neatness and the amenities.
