Clean hotel and very friendly staff at reception. We also really liked the pool area. It was quiet, clean and there was music playing in the background. This was our second time here. The beach can also be reached in a few minutes by car or bike. Unfortunately, the air conditioning is very loud, which is why we deducted a point. More gluten-free options at breakfast would be great. :)

I stayed at the Holiday Inn at the 5th Ave location last month. I have never stayed at a Holiday Inn and I can tell you that I had a 5 star experience from check in to check out! Bill couldn’t do enough for me and really made my stay a complete pleasure. I could tell he wanted to do everything in his power to ensure I was happy. And I was more than happy as he along with Stephanie were so kind the entire week. The room was very clean and spacious and the location was superb. The cleaning staff was impeccable as each evening I returned from my meetings they had left my room in complete order. Big compliments!! I have recommended to my colleagues that this particular location should be on their list and have one of them coming this month. I have already booked another week in early April and another colleague with be joining me. I stay at many hotels over the course of each year and to me, it is always the people who make the stay special… The Holiday Inn Express exceeded my expectations and you can thank Bill and Stephanie for their kind hospitality!! I had reservations and paid the extra for insurance incase I had to cancel because we were going out on fishing boat the next day. I had to cancel because the weather turned bad so they canceled our fishing trip. Spoke to several people there and they WOULD NOT give me my money back even called before we were supposed to be there. Staff very rude and not helpful at all. I will never get reservations at this facility again. Crooks!!!!!!!

Frederick checked me in. He made me feel so welcome, offering me a better room to the one I had chosen. He came across as dependable, caring and instantly made me feel like a valued customer. Over the next four days, he was always willing to offer directions / suggestions and even a band aid for my first aid needs. Stephanie was outstanding. An intelligent young lady with a beautiful smile, and she quickly resolved an issue pointed out to her at breakfast. I always believe how a person reacts to a problem presented, speaks volumes about their attitude. Her food and beach recommendations were spot on! Chloe at the Tiki bar - another gem. I was jet lagged and knew I would fall asleep if I went to my room. So I headed to the tiki bar. I asked for and she provided a taster of a local beer. Her service, sense of humour and efficiency were all appreciated. The food was piping hot (and excellent value). Thank you for a lovely evening Chloe. The breakfast was always well stocked, hot food topped up, and loved the choice of yoghurts, they even had soy milk!! The business centre was adequately equipped. My room was cleaned very well, and I liked the option of not having the cleaning daily (green initiative). Dani helped with extending my checkout to 12 noon - giving me the much needed morning to snooze. I have complained to IHG in the past, where service has lacked. It is only fair that I extend compliments when due. I will, no doubt, be staying with you again on my next visit. If only I could take this HI Express to every destination I travel to!

We are here for work. Breakfast was late every day. There was a sign for 5$ margaritas on Tuesday, they were 8$. I was chargerd 300$ for reschedulingmy stay 3 weeks in andvance. I am done with IHG. Great hotel, horrible management.
