The service was top-notch! Everyone, from the boat rental staff to our servers, was attentive and helpful. The fish and chips and fish tacos were delicious! My only complaint is the overpriced dinners. The $45 fish dinner was good, but the vegetables were raw and cold, and the mashed potatoes were also cold. Not worth it. Order from the lunch menu! We didn't stay in the cabins because of bad reviews, which were confirmed by another guest. She said the rooms were dirty, run-down, and had terrible beds. The grounds were well-kept, clean, and had beautiful views! We'll be back for day trips and boat rentals!

MUST READ: This is one of my favorite places to visit every year. They offer boat rentals (kayaks, canoes, paddleboards), a store with everything you could need (snacks, propane, etc.), and a restaurant with a full bar and excellent, friendly staff! The food is great, with daily specials. They have $6 margaritas and a taco bar on Wednesdays, and prime rib dinners on Saturdays (reservations recommended!). There are 13 beautiful, rustic cabins, and live music throughout the summer! Book cabins early, as they fill up fast! Definitely a must-visit! Skip Eastlake – the water is low, smells awful, and is full of algae. Paulina Lake Lodge is the place to be!

We explored the area, which is stunning, and decided to eat at the lodge restaurant. It was awful! The food was terrible; none of us could eat more than a few bites. Even the fries were bad. For the price, it was a huge disappointment. The waitress was friendly but overwhelmed and made several mistakes. We regretted not going to Dairy Queen instead.

We didn't stay at the lodge, but we ate at the restaurant while sightseeing at Paulina’s Lake.
