The hotel's response to noise complaints is also criticized, with reports of an unattended front desk and delayed resolution. Some guests have experienced unplowed parking lots during winter, though this was a minor inconvenience for those with larger vehicles. The location of the hotel is generally considered good. Potential guests should weigh the positive aspects of the amenities and rooms against the reported service and noise issues before making a reservation.

Stayed at AmericInn in Wisconsin Dells and had a great experience. The hotel was cool and definitely offered great value for the price. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The pool was relaxing, and the hot tub was a nice touch after a long day. The breakfast spread was fantastic! They had tons of great breakfast options, which was definitely the highlight of my stay. It’s hard to beat that kind of variety and quality for breakfast. The only minor issue I had was that the parking lot wasn’t plowed, and there was quite a bit of snow. Fortunately, I had my big truck, so it wasn’t too much of a hassle.

Such a frustrating experience. We had to wait for the poor overworked woman at the front desk to finish helping another guest and take a phone call before helping us while another TWO people at another desk did nothing. After we checked in, we were directed to that other desk just to get the keys. The guy at this desk wasn't there to help his overworked peer, nor was he there to help us. He was there to sell us on one of those timeshare information sessions. I feel like I was treated like an ATM; how much money can they extract from the guests when they come in? I understand that's just the way some businesses choose to operate and I could leave that alone but that's not it. After a long day on the road, I just wanted to rest in a quiet room. I'm sure I'm not the only one that has a hard time sleeping in new places. There were kids running up and down the halls till well after 10 which made sleep pretty much impossible. When the kids were done, the teenagers were partying in the next room. I tried keeping the fan on (which made the room cold) but could still hear them. Finally close to 1 am I go to the front desk where I shouldn't be surprised to find empty and had wait for someone to address the noise (and vaping). Maybe it's my fault for waiting so long but now not only is there noise outside my room but I'm raging mad. I feel like I should just give up on sleeping. The room is fine and the location is good. You'll likely have a better experience but I feel like this whole situation could have been handled better with even one additional staff.

Amazing stay!!! The lobby was beautifully decorated and so cozy. They have a coffee/tea/cocoa stand available to grab a drink and enjoy by the fireplace. Breakfast was top notch. Pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausages, breakfast potatoes, biscuits with gravy, yogurt, fruit. Probably one of the best I've ever experienced. Good quality and good variety. Loved the room. Comfortable and clean. We had a balcony facing the forest. It was peaceful and we spent mornings and evenings relaxing there with a cup of tea. The balcony is worth the extra money. Last but not least, really cool pool area. There is a hot tub, regular pool with basketball hoops, and a kid's pool area. After 10pm, no kids allowed, so you get the whole place to yourselves. It feels like a spa then.

We stayed here for a family get together. We booked online and got a great deal. We called and asked if we could have our rooms on the mail level due to some of our guests with a walking disability. They were very helpful and made sure we had a close room. The decor of the hotel was cute. Some of the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. Other people working there were there wearing baggy sweatshirts and not helpful. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint really was that the bathroom were very outdated and felt gross. Also the coffee cups in the room were so cheap that the bottom fell out of the cup and spilled all over on my husband's lap and stained his pants. The pool options were nice. The large pool had basket balls and hoops but was very cold. The kid pool kept my kids busy and was warmer. The hot tub was a good size. Very hot. But a great hot tub. There was a small game room and that was enjoyable. The vending machines were outrageous. $2.50 for everything. I think soda was $3. Breakfast was OK. The thing I thought was unnecessary were the signs of "absolutely no eating" posted all over the lobby. That was the first thing you see when you walk in. Why? So tacky. I did like that once you check in they text you and say if you have any questions or needs just to the text. Cool features. Price was good. But rooms a little run down and I was uptight in the lobby with my kids because of their signs so when we come back to the Dells, maybe I find a different place.

Front desk staff Liam checked me in at 230pm. At 740pm Liam attempted to "room check" while I was relaxing. The security latch was set and he closed the door. He did not give a reason for the attempt and just said it was a mistake. This made me feel uneasy and I left the hotel. Police incident was made and Officer made contact with Liam. He did not find anything malicious. Travis Wilson (manager) was not available till the next morning. He was not empathetic to the fact that Liam's actions made me feel unsafe. He called me unreasonable and refused to offer a refund claiming Liam's action is normal for staff to check vacant rooms. Travis and Liam deny that they caused me to feel unsafe. Customer care has been contacted and a ticket is in progress to resolving this situation
