Embassy Suites by Hilton St Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort

We recently stayed 3 weeks (Jan to Feb) at this hotel and return every year. The first 4 days, they worked on restoring the pool surface and it was quite loud and dusty. Our room was right in front of the pool on the 1st floor. After complaining to the front desk, we were able to switch to room 327 which had an amazing view of the ocean and was close to our previous year’s stay in room 252 (nicest rooms in our opinion). This hotel feels still brand new and has a modern environment which we love. The room is perfect and spacious, the bed is pretty hard. In the mornings, we enjoyed the omelette station and the entire service team was super nice. We had exceptional great service from Bernadette P at breakfast. She deserves a promotion. Being from Seattle, we love the Starbucks on site. The valet team is on point as well. John provided awesome customer service as well. Great team!! We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella that was setup for us directly at the ocean. Really, the only issue we had was that we wanted to stay 4 weeks but couldn’t get the additional week due to occupancy issues and we had to move to one of the other hotels. Overall, this hotel is wonderful. And we will be back.

We recently spent a long Valentine’s weekend at the Embassy Suites by Hilton St. Augustine Beach Oceanfront Resort, staying for three nights. Overall, we were very satisfied with the location—steps away from the beach and close to all the great sights St. Augustine has to offer. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. However, for the price we paid for a waterfront view room, the accommodations fell short of our expectations. The biggest issue was our bathroom door—it was literally hanging from the hinges and wouldn’t fully close without making a horrifyingly loud noise. With our 4.5-year-old son trying to nap or sleep at night, this became a frustrating and unavoidable problem. Privacy was non-existent, and we constantly had to tiptoe around the issue, which shouldn’t be the case in a high-end resort. As soon as we walked into the room and noticed the issue, I called the front desk, and within the hour, they sent an "engineer" to check it out. He walked in, looked at the door, and literally said, **"Oh, we know about this door. We'll fix it when you guys leave."** And that was it—no further accommodations, no offer to move us to a different room, nothing. We were just expected to deal with it for the duration of our stay. While we truly enjoyed the overall experience—the beachfront setting, the great amenities, and the excellent service—the condition of our room and the lack of effort to resolve the issue was disappointing, especially given the cost. Hopefully, management takes note, as small details like this can make or break an otherwise fantastic stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property, and it truly exceeded my expectations in several ways. The grounds were stunning, and the overall ambiance of the hotel was simply gorgeous. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with a smile and offering helpful tips to make our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was the fantastic happy hour – it was great to see that they had options for kids as well, making it a family-friendly experience. The restaurant on-site was outstanding, offering delicious meals in a cozy, welcoming environment. Plus, our room was spotless – very clean and comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. However, there were a couple of things that didn’t quite meet my expectations. The fact that they only offer valet parking felt a bit inconvenient, especially since it added to the overall cost. Additionally, while the experience was top-notch, it was a little on the pricey side for what we got. Overall, though, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its beauty, service, and dining experience.

Location, service and amenities were perfect but this hotel is manipulating its customer on name of ocean view rooms. I paid $150 extra for ocean view room with balcony while booking but its of no use. I got side ocean view rooms. These guys are mentioning some thing else on website while booking and allocating some other rooms. It feels like i got cheated while booking this property.

Review for Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach We had an amazing stay at Embassy Suites St. Augustine Beach over Valentine’s weekend to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday! This hotel has so much going for it—beachfront access, a perfectly sized pool, a delicious breakfast bar, and an incredible restaurant for dinner. Plus, having a Starbucks in the lobby is a nice touch! ☕️ The staff is guest-centric and well-trained in DRE, making the service top-notch. Valet service is outstanding, and room turnover is excellent. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and most offer beautiful ocean views. The location is also fantastic—surrounded by great restaurants and just a short drive to historic Old Town. The only downside to our stay was a loud argument/fight that broke out Saturday night at 1:30 AM. When we called the front desk, the staff member on duty was not helpful at all. That moment aside, everything else was flawless, and this property truly shines. Key Properties has a fantastic thing going here, and I will absolutely recommend this hotel to all my clients! A near-perfect experience—we’ll definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Would’ve been 5 stars if not for the Saturday night incident.)
