My wife and I buy a camper every few years to upgrade. Alice at camping world Churchville is AMAZING! We found one online that we wanted at a different camping world location. She actually found one for us on her lot that was better than our original expectation. Alice is so pleasant to work with and she makes the whole process painless. I can not say enough about her and the incredible professional staff at this location. I encourage you to reach out to her if you are looking to buy. She is a true gem. All of our expectations were exceeded.

I’m a senior citizen and feel I was taken advantage of and lied to. I asked camping world, to sell my camper in consignment. I brought the camper to them. They said upon inspecting my camper, that it needed a new roof. They sucked me in to pay for a new roof. Twelve thousand dollars. The camper only has 1700 miles. I didn’t make a mistake, Seventeen hundred not thousand! So, you can see why I’m skeptical. To get me to enter their consignment, they promised they would sell the camper, for more then I owe. So being happy and relieved, thinking he was going to sell it, I paid the $12,000 . They never sold it. I don’t know if they even tried! So now I’m out of $12,000. I’m sure they just scammed me for the $12,000, maybe because I’m a senior citizen (75 yrs). So people be careful wit camping world!!

I purchased a trailer from Camping World Churchville and the experience went smoothly. Alice was a great help. She worked with me and was able to purchase the trailer I wanted at the price I needed it to be. She did not give up on me to get it done. Insurance can be useful but I am not one to make an insurance decision on signing day. If information is disclosed prior to signing day It might make a difference for me. Evin tried but last minute decision are not me. Alice was great and I would tell people to ask for her. Do plan on checking over the unit with EAGLE EYES theres always something wrong. They fixed everything I found. Only wish they had those things fixed before I saw them. Thts my only real knock. As others said the 1.5-2 hour insurance seminar is too long wen not planned for but free to get or just say no. Thank you Alice.

I bought a camper from Camping world in churchville inn August. They stated they would give me a new battery...fill both propane tanks, a new mattress and other items included in my prep fee. The beginning of November I took the camper to Florida and stored it at a friend's house for use this February. We'll the battery wouldn't hold a charge so trying to get it hooked up was difficult. The service department stated I could trade out the battery so the campingworld in ocala did that for me. February 1, 2025 I took it to my campground in Largo Florida for my 2 month stay. After getting the camper all set up I realized the toilet was broke and couldn't be used. I call the sales manager Dave and he avoided my calls like I had the plague. I was finally called back by the service department and was told there was nothing they could do and that I must have broke the toilet because I didn't winterize it and it froze. Complete garbage...the camper was winterized and I didn't have it anywhere that it got cold enough to freeze anything. I was finally contacted by the general manager and he told me I had an extended warranty and I could contact Campingworld in Pinellas Park and they would fix it under my warranty. The end result was 320.00 out of pocket so I could have a toilet after a week of complete frustration. Now to top it off...only one of my propane tanks was filled and so I ran out of propane. Completely frustrating purchase and will never purchase from the Churchville location again....and maybe any camping world locations. Lesson check everything before you accept your unit....

This dealer is an absolute joke. I consigned my RV to them to sell because we were moving out of state and Ron in consignments assured me he could pay off my loan, no problem. We signed the paperwork and said it was pending their inspection. They inspected the the unit and said the only thing the wanted to do was pressure test it and he found an issue. It would be $695 out of my pocket when they sold it. Ron assured me that was the cost. It would not be higher. We signed the contract and moved out of state about 2 weeks later. This was June, the middle of prime camping season. I did not think about it until I had to make that camper payment and thought it was a little weird that we had not heard anything. I called and talked to Ron and he said they were backed up. It was just coming out of the detail shop. Should be taking pictures that day. This was mid July. August rolls around and I am paying my bills. Camper payment, and insurance. I go on their website and don't see our unit on there. I call and talk to Ron.... Ohhhh they are backed up with the website stuff but we have people looking at it. Should be getting an offer today. I call and leave a few voicemails to follow up with Ron but I don't get call backs. Still not on their website. I finally catch Ron and he explains that my voicemails were going to some other guy there even thought I left them in his voicemail. That was August. September comes and another payment goes out. I call to talk to Ron and only get his voicemail. No call backs, no listing on their website. I call the sales manager and magically the RV is listed in 2 days. I finally do talk to Ron. A little more than annoyed that my RV has sat through the entire camping season and just made it up on the website. He assures me this is the best time to sell an RV because this is when people want to buy them. I personally have been in sales for over a decade. People want to buy an RV at that time of year because that is when they can get the best price. New models are coming out and dealers don't want to store them through the Western NY winter. There is a little activity on the RV now that it is at least listed and people can see it. It brings a couple offers and finally ends up selling in October after I have made another payment on it. The repair cost that Ron assured me would not go up has now more than tripled. I negotiate with them to pay a little ore than double the original quote just to get it sold and out of my hair. They sell it and I pay the repair cost out of pocket. A week or so later Ron calls me up and sends me a document to sign that says the sale price was something other than what I was told it was and that is to offset the cost of the repair or something to that affect. I'm not their accountant and I have no idea what kind of paperwork they are doing in the back to make their book look good. I called the credit union and they said my loan was cleared and that's really all I cared about at that point. Now my loan is cleared and the lien release has been sent And my financial obligation to the credit union is taken care of. I sign the paper and send it back to Camping World. In NY you can not cancel the insurance on a vehicle until the plates are turned in. So I technically have a registered and insured vehicle someplace that is registered and insured in my name even though I do not legally own it or have the any idea who does. Camping World was supposed to send the plates in And send me the receipt of surrender so that I can cancel the insurance. This is the end of October. November comes and I get an insurance bill for the RV and I think to myself that's weird I have not received any notification that my plates have been surrendered..... Guess I will give Ron a call and see if he turned them in. I call, leave a voicemail. No call back. I call and ask for manager and I the service manager. He gets a hold of the plates and assures me that he will.... Continued on facebook I would not recommend Camping World to anybody for anything. I ran out of space here.
