However, some guests have noted that rooms may feel outdated and in need of remodeling, particularly regarding carpeting, water pressure, and bathroom fixtures.
Customer Feedback: While the hotel has its charm, recent guest reviews highlight areas for improvement. Many visitors have expressed disappointment with room conditions, including outdated decor, malfunctioning fixtures, and weak water pressure. Service issues, such as slow response times and errors in handling reservations, have also been mentioned. The on-site restaurant has received mixed feedback, with some guests praising the food quality but criticizing service speed and attentiveness. Despite these challenges, one standout positive review noted the friendliness of a server who sings while working.

Rooms need to be updated and remodeled. Carpet in room is starting to come apart. Shower water pressure is very weak and it takes forever to shower. Called the front desk to have my HH number added to reservation and I was told by the receptionist to come to lobby to take care of that. I did but she never entered the number or entered the incorrect number. Had to go back a couple times. The air vent in room is caked with dust. The sink faucet does not work properly. When I came in the room the first time, there was no soap in the bathroom. Room did not appear to have been cleaned well. Restaurant is good. The food was good but I ordered soup and never got it.
Very disappointed with this stay. Our room had a "basement apartment" feel - windows only lining the top half of the room - and the room was so small we could barely move around. No desk. The knobs on the dresser were mismatched. The bathtub drain wouldn't seal. But the most disappointing experience of all was the restaurant. Service was very slow/ inattentive. One night, the server forgot to leave a pen for the check and then disappeared for over 10 minutes. The other night, I was seated but not given a menu or greeted by a server for 5/10 min. I asked for no bacon and received bacon, which is frustrating because I don't eat pork. The bartender forgot my order at one point and shouted to me from across the room to confirm my order, which was awkward/ embarrassing. Then he closed the bar early - at 10:30 - even though it's supposed to close at 11!! He was rushing everyone out and being a bit rude about it too. I confirmed with the hotel this morning that he was not supposed to do that. The one saving grace of this restaurant is the server who sings while he's working, he has a beautiful voice. TL/DR - stay at literally any other hotel in Providence, there are so many, and for a better price! Including taxes and fees, I paid $276 per night for this experience. That is just outrageous.
We had no choice to book this hotel due to tournaments; one in January and one in February. The day staff is much friendly than the night staff, who are rude and unhelpful. They do not have the same answers for questions and almost everytime a parent in our group asked something, we were given a variety of answers. They wanted to fine our team $500 for eating pizza in the lobby and placing them on tables that ANOTHER employee said we could use. The chef that approached us was wildly rude, as well as the assistant manager that had given us permission. If you are hosting numerous teams, and do not offer any open spaces for them to meet, don’t accept group bookings. Our girls needed to eat. Also, make sure all your stories are straight and DO NOT approach me with the condescending attitude that you did. I have never had such poor service. I am never usually easily rattled by customer service, but I have never encountered something like this. Trying to get a small cube sized fridge was a ridiculous task. Not to mention, the fridge I got was beat up and looked to be taped together in areas. This is for both stays that we were there. I can almost guarantee our club will not be booking here again. We used the restaurant for our team dinner ($400+ check), which I wanted to cancel due to the attitude we got about having pizza in the lobby. We spend a lot of money without a choice and it would be nice for the athletes to have a breakfast that is not ridiculously priced, rooms that don’t smell, fridges for healthy food, and space to be with their team. Again, if you don’t want to accommodate groups like this, then don’t. Reading most of the reviews about rude staff and rooms being not cleaned seems to check out in both of my experiences. Do better, Hilton.
This hotel is with in walking distance to the convention center. Starbucks is on the way as well. Parking is tricky and it was so much easier to park in the lot across the street. Bummed the rooms didn't have microwaves or mini fridges but the rooms were clean, towels were stocked and house keeping was amazing.
My client recommended that we stay here because it was close to their Christmas venue. The hotel was not full, so we had a top floor room with an excellent view. Self parking was safe and convenient and the staff was courteous.
