Judy and Larry are awesome! We stayed at this hotel for 8 days; we came from Kentucky to help a family member while he was in the hospital. Their customer service was off the charts ❤️. The business center was very helpful with use of the copier and computers. The rooms were spotless and well stocked. If I could give 10 stars 🌟, I would. Loved the courtyard and pool area. The free use of washer and dryer was a very nice amenity also. We definitely will be staying here again the next time we’re in town.
My husband, mother, dog and I just spent 6 nights at this location while we waited for power to be restored to our home after Hurricane Helene. I can't say enough good things about the experience! Every person was delightful to work with and super helpful. We were able to have a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite separated by a cute living/dining/kitchen area. We were able to get ground floor and right on the end at the dog walk area and parking so my mother could get in and out easily and so we could easily take the dog out. Also there's a cute pond area and 2 benches to sit on there. The pool and hot tub area were great. The breakfast was fabulous everyday and we heard great things about the Mon-Weds Happy Hour but missed it. The beds were comfortable and there were 3 very large TVs. Probably 10-15 minutes to the beach and barely a minute to Medieval Times, Hard Rock Cafe, and Paula Deen’s Restaurant! We’d love to visit again under better circumstances but very thankful for a their help!
This hotel doesn't look like the pictures on the website. Our room very dated and not the cleanest. We found dental floss pick in the pull out sofa. Headboard looked like so grease was on there where someone head would be. But this breakfast was one of the worst I have seen in a while. 0800 out of coffee in all 3 containers, only few pieces of fruit in the container. Waffle maker the mixed was so watery it didn't make any Waffle right. Very poorly maintained. Staff didn't seem to care. This was a stay on 11/29/24
So… the first and second time I stayed here there was someone smoking weed outside of the back side door. I have pets so we normally have a end room, so I was expecting a nice room like when I stayed in April 2024. The room was half cleaned and in bad shape. The couch had shredded claw marks going up and down one of it legs. The shower in my second room had a loud slow leak in the bathtub faucet, and as we were packing to leave we saw a roach run across one of the walls. If I would have seen that roach on day one of the two I stayed I would have asked for my money back and checked out. This is below standards for even IHG…
We booked a King efficiency suite for a golf trip (December 27/January 2nd, 2025). Great room with all the necessities including a very comfortable bed! Shower head had a bothersome drip so we just closed the bathroom door. Breakfast area was very nice & offered a good variety of foods. Our favourites : dark roast coffee, cereal, eggs, sadly no bacon, raisin bread, bagels, english muffins, oatmeal, waffles, fresh fruit, fruit salad, greek yogurt! (salsa, shredded cheese & tortillas!) Location was great for golf (10-20 minute drive) but surrounding area was a bit bare in terms of access to restaurants & such.
