Ramada by Wyndham Kamloops

I was driving through Kamloops and stay overnight. Lavan and Joan were very friendly and professional during the booking over the phone, checking in and my stay. I requested a room facing the courtyard and it was quiet. I enjoyed my stay and had a good night of sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The workstation was also great.

It's hard to navigate all the conflicting reviews on Google especially with hotels but this hotel checked all the box's. Good value ($91 2 queen beds) and clean renovated rooms. Check in and check out was easy. The room was a little on the small side but that is easy to overlook when its a nice room. Much appreciated the massage chairs in the hallway (easy to pay for and worth it) The continental breakfast was very basic but acceptable.I would stay here again!

I booked this hotel for this for a quick stay in the middle of a 13 hour road trip. It was a good choice at a decent price, but it wasn’t perfect. The room was roomy and clean, the hotel was quiet. The room does come with body wash / shampoo / conditioner dispensers (which is always a better option than the mini bottles and/or bar soap) but unfortunately, the body wash hadn’t been refilled before our stay (and we checked in 4 hours after standard check in time). The hotel also has a text ‘concierge’ - which I used since the phone in our room didn’t seem to be working - but when I asked for an extra blanket, I got a response that “they would look into it and get back to me right away” without any further response. Would I recommend staying here? Yes, especially if you’re on a budget but don’t want to stay in a “low-budget” hotel. But I don’t recommend setting your expectations too high. Like I said, this is a good option if you need a spot to rest for a little bit on the way to somewhere else.

The location was ok.. in the Center of everything. The parking was ok. Never had to look for a spot. The breakfast was very simple. Bread products yogurt and boxed apple apple, juice cereal and 1% milk. Had to move chairs because the table closest to the breakfast tables smelled really strong like diaper pee. So we moved to the table that smelled Iike party balloons instead. The whole room was clearly still all original from the 70s from the upholstered chairs to the table clothes and carpet. It’s either a brilliant scheme to promote the restaurant, which we should have tried because the place looked nice, or a cheapskate move in order to save as much money as these “poor” hotel owners can. I’m giving the front desk people 5 stars because both of them went above and beyond in my opinion, giving us the same rate as online when it was going to be more expensive in person, and warning us of travel conditions on our departing day, including taking her time to pull up road Cameras to show us in real time. Thank you. All in all, I’d stay here again, on a day that the lounge wasn’t closed off to everyone else on the weekend due to a very loud music thumping, door closed in our faces for wanting to watch the live guitar performances but have to deal with drunk people crying around in the hallway and bathroom for hours.

Was the perfect hotel for a pet friendly hotel. Had a positive experience! The front desk employees were so lovely! The only complaint I have was the windows in our room were dirty so we weren’t really able to see clearly outside, other wise it fit our needs! Would definitely stay here again!
