I booked this hotel online and went the day before check in to see about extra charges, pet info, etc. The clerk was somewhat rude, didn't want to be forthright with info, he told me with deposits, pet fees (daily pet fee mind you) it would be like $150 more.He also told me that I had to have a physical credit card, and I couldn't use my stored card on my phone (maybe their system doesn't support this) I expressed to him how I felt about his service and left (more occurred, but let's keep moving). I returned the next day and the clerk/woman/owner was pleasant. I voiced my concerns, and after her telling me that my cat would have to be caged (a caged cat?) or I wouldn't be allowed to leave him in the room alone, I declined to stay at this lodge and she was nice enough to help me with the cancellation and starting the process of getting my refund from Expedia. Next time I will research more, ask more questions before reserving hotels online!!!! I didn't see the rooms so I could not evaluate those.

We've used this place off and on for the last 10 years. We always have a pet so we're in the Pet friendly rooms. This hotel is utilized by a lot of contractors that work various jobs in the area. It's relatively quiet. Rooms are ok. Clean, but a little worn. Limited continental breakfast. Friendly staff that have been there for years. Located right off the interstate. Some fast food restaurants within walking distance.

Shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a month, after walking barefoot in the room for a few minutes, my feet were black, and the cute little window A/C unit didn't work properly. Hotel parking lot looks like a truck stop. Front desk clerk was rude. Never again.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! If you want to be charged double your room rate in the middle of the night without even being told they used your credit card, then when asked about it they wouldn’t do anything!! the customer service lady at the front desk is extremely rude, when asking for extra towels she gave us a hard time and was not friendly or helpful at all, the breakfast is barely a breakfast & there’s nothing to eat really and the food is all cold, the hallways in the hotel smell of weed and are extremely hot, the bathroom had mold growing on the ceiling and the whole experience was not very good!! For being a loyal gold choice rewards member this hotel is out of date, needs new customer service and is not worth your stay or money!!

We knew we were getting a budget hotel. But know these few things: We just wanted to sleep for a few hours. People are correct that the rooms start out hot, and it takes 2+ hours for it to cool off. That was okay. The front desk clerk was very nice, BUT she should have asked if we were okay hiking up three floors with our stuff! There is no elevator. The beds are rock hard. Apparently, this might be changing since there were new mattresses in the hallway when we left. The blankets are old and tattered. There were burn holes. The pillows - well, just bring your own! The room was clean-ish. The floors not so much, I'm not sure what was on the floor this morning, but it was clear it had not been swept. But sitting around the table this morning and watching the roach crawl across our stuff? No! So, if you can sleep anywhere as long as you have a nice desk clerk, this is your place. But if you desire even a little comfort and are not a fan roaches, this might not be your place. Spend the extra 20-50.
