Staff had issue with my stay the second day I was here, almost went to another motel due to the trouble with their system and my companies payment for the long stay. Definitely wouldn't recommend breakfast, I'm on a high protein diet but they only offer waffles yogurt and some refrozen breakfast sandwiches. Don't expect bacon or sausage. The breakfast staff were very nice though!
The room was wreaking of cigarette smoke. We asked to move rooms but were told the place was booked. There was a dead bug on the bed that we discovered in the morning. A random male entered our room at midnight and when we asked who he was and what was he doing there. He walked out without a word. When we called the front desk to report this they blew it off and said that maybe it was the maintenance guy. The room continued wreaking of cigarette smoke the entire time and when we called back to ask if something could be done they sent someone with a spray can and asked if we wanted to spray the room.
Normally I would give this location 5 stars because in the past the rooms were clean and the service had always been great. But my last 2 or 3 visits have been very bad. This past stay the morning staff wor very rude except for James, he is the only person there with people skills, he is a really great handling the customers . The shower in my room didn't work I asked if I could have a different room but since I was in a 1 be suite the would move me. The other bad experience was a couple weeks ago I was in a 1 be suite and there were roaches on the wall. I called the front desk and the lady snapped at me and said they has never had roaches and It must have been my imagination. I took a photo to show the morning manager. Oh and the last bad experience I had booked a king suite but when I got there they had already given my room to some one else and gave me a standard double queen and still charged be for the king suite. I'm a 3 strikes type of person so three weeks in a row and 3 strikes. I now stay at the Hampton inn just down the interstate which ironically is ran by the same district manager which I definitely let them know what was going on at the home 2 suites in Cartersville. Hopefully they will have a talk with the hotel manager. This is a shame because this use to be my favorite place to stay when working in Cartersville. I pray they get all these issues fixed so I can start staying there again.
After staying at another hotel..coming here was a DREAM! The lady up front was the sweetest!! Worked with us getting in early. The rooms are amazing !!! & clean!! The breakfast was so good!! I wish we would have been able to stay here the whole time. It felt like home
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! I would highly recommend to stay as far away from this location. The hotel has roaches and the staff does nothing for you, the lady literally asked me if I was showing her a grasshopper. I have pictures to prove they have roaches. They open multiple rewards on your account with bogus emails. The breakfast is trash! No yogurt, no milk, apples are mushy. They charge you a pet fee when you don't have pets. Guess they are charging you to keep their roaches. The hotel is dirty inside and out. The staff is ridiculous all the way up to the joke of a regional operations manager Maggie! I can not believe the way this place treats their guests. Very sad way to run a business. I am even more disturbed after reading other reviews. Do not waste 1 cent of your money at this sad establishment!
