Awesome hotel. Great lobby, lots of different spaces within the hotel to hang out. Some very cool spots throughout the hotel to chill. Rooms were nice and clean, but a bit small. The location was fantastic right on the beach. There are great views all over the pool and pool deck. Great outdoor spaces with restaurants. Pool was a bit chilly.

I stayed at this hotel while on a business trip, and overall, it was an okay experience. The check-in process was quick and easy, which was a good start. My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to get some decent rest during my stay. The hotel has a unique design where the center is open all the way up, and all the doors face inward toward each other. While it looks nice, it can get pretty noisy, especially if there’s a lot of activity or people talking in the hallways. Another issue I noticed was a gap under the main door. Because of this, I couldn’t leave the patio door open without hearing a loud whistling noise from the main door. On my last night, the shower started leaking and made a loud dripping sound. I put a towel in the shower to muffle the noise, which helped enough for me to get some sleep. It wasn’t a huge issue since I was checking out the next morning, but it’s something they might want to fix. Overall, it was an okay stay. It’s not a bad hotel, but there are a few things they could improve to make it more comfortable for guests.

Where to start?! We checked in on Christmas Day and that process went well. However a $180 hold for “ incidentals” is placed on your credit card. Get up to the room the ocean view was nice. The room itself is old and not very well kept. Upon inspection it wasn’t the cleanest either. Luckily, I ALWAYS pack Lysol and Clorox wipes so I wiped up and sprayed down the room for my peace of mind. Well, I COULD NOT sleep the first night because my allergies was kicking my butt! Did some investigating the next morning and found that the HVAC filter looked like it hasn’t been changed in over a year! Went to front desk that morning to ask that they change it. Went on our way to enjoy the day. Got back around 5pm to find that someone came and just wiped the vent but DID NOT change the filter! Furthermore, a nasty cloth was left on the counter! Called the front desk to let them know the filter was still filthy! Sent maintenance and the guy was acting like we were inconveniencing him because had to come up. Told us he had to go check to see if they had that sized filter in stock! What?! To me that was very obvious that they don’t change the filters very often. Lucky for us he came back and was able to change the filter. No smart TV. No microwave. Community microwave located on even floors in the vending machine/ice room. The microwave was dirty! In order to have a hot shower, we had to run the shower for about 5 minutes. One day it still didn’t get hot even after running it for a while. We had no problem with the breakfast buffet the first time we went but this morning was a different story. We were sat and I asked if we could just go on to get our food and was told to wait for a waitress. We were the only ones in restaurant and we sat and waited for about 10 minutes and no one came so we left. We just made the best of our trip but I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel!

Great experience valet parking as you pull up rooms were clean and neat and the bars and restaurants inside the hotel were great. Great views of the beach and ocean. Make sure you take shower early if you wait to late might run out of hot water? Early bird gets the worm. 😉

Do yourself a big favor and book and go elsewhere! Don’t be fooled by the Hilton logo. The rooms are old and poorly kept! The first room had no hot water to bathe, the sheets on the bed were ripped. It was cold and the heat didn’t work. The second room was an improvement only because we had hot water and heat in our room. BE AWARE that they will charge you a resort fee whether or not you use any of the amenities. The only positive I can say was the politeness of the staff for the valet. Otherwise this was one of the worst hotels we ever stayed at. Never again! Gross is an understatement!!!
