The bed was too much on the floor. The couch was also too low. Both bathrooms were not handicapped, we still had to hold on to get in the shower. The water in the sink kitchen was not able to run like it should. Couldn't even tell what was on the TV except stations. Then the water got shut off and we couldn't take a shower, or washer.

I've been coming here for about 15 years, and it's always been great... until recently. However, Hilton has bought them out, and they are working on integrating the systems, and that has caused some issues. While we got a room, they couldn't check us in until the next day. The maintenance on this place has severely suffered in the last year. Surfaces are suddenly all marred or dirty, no touch-ups are being done, and there's just a lot more dirt than I've ever seen before. It seems as though the new owners are diverting resources, and in a highly used and corrosive atmosphere, this starts to show quickly. Overall and this location aside, it seems that the new owners are doing their best to dilute value to force owners to either buy massively expensive new points or abandon their points so they can repossess and resell them, dilute the value, and make low point properties harder to compete for space. On the good side, you can't beat the location of Shore Crest, and the location desk staff has been very good. I can't say the same for the sales staff. We went in for an "update" and couldn't get any update info from the update person. Nothing but sales pitch and telling us whatever she thought might make yhe sale. Then she started telling us stuff that didn't make sense and she couldn't show anywhere. Her "manager" then came over and told us exactly the opposite, and when I pointed this out, they settled on a story somewhere in the middle, which wiped out what they both previously said. It was borderline funny, though not if I'd fallen for it.

South shore location is a five and plus. However there room does need more remodeling and need to be renovated for the 21 st century. We want to feel comfort even though its not home. The carpet give the place a look of eccentric and definitely can do for a make over. Bathrooms also needs to be renovated to modern style. Moreover, the security needs to be upgraded even though it’s quiet there.

The only real complaint is the lack of a smart remote to go with the smart TVs. Rooms are clean and stocked; think walls and new utensils. Service is stellar and lots of amenities.

North Myrtle Beach is a little more laid back than the Grand Strand. We're in West building (II) and it's quieter than the Oceanside. We enjoy watching the birds in the marsh as the sun sets.
