Don’t stay at this hotel! This La Quinta Hotel located in Ocala, FL is in bad need of renovations, repairs & CLEANING! We had booked a room there for 7 days, traveling from Tennessee for vacation & to visit family. Upon arrival we checked in & asked for a rolling luggage cart. They couldn’t locate one, and they brought us an ORANGE LAUNDRY CART from the laundry room. (See pictures.) The first thing we saw when we entered our room was one of the beds had a severe slant (one side was higher than the other. The second thing we noticed was that the beds were NOT QUEEN SIZE but just double size. I specifically questioned the front desk when I booked the room about bed size and was told “It says double bed but that is queen for their hotel.” I called the front desk, requested another room with QUEEN SIZE beds that weren’t broken/slanted. He said he had none on the first floor & INSISTED that the beds in our room were queen size (they were not.) At that point, we realized how dirty & dingy the room was. There was no way I was going to lay on that bed & spend the night in that nasty room (see pictures.) We pushed our orange laundry cart back to the front desk & requested a full refund, that the room was dirty & we would find another hotel (hopefully.) We were informed that we could get a refund for only 6 days. We would be charged for this room for 1 night because we had been in it. We were informed it for 10 minutes at the most…I was on my phone trying to find a hotel that would accept a dog. The young man at the front desk never apologized and in fact made us feel as if we were the ones in the wrong. I told him that they should be ashamed of booking a room in that condition. This happened on January 29, 2025. I called Wyndham Resorts the next day from our new, clean room at the Hilton. As of today February 9, 2025, I have yet to hear back from Wyndham, and there is still a charge on my credit card for night when we were there for 10 minutes before requesting a full refund. Thank goodness we thought to take pictures of the nastiness & the LAUNDRY CART. Check them out. Wyndham Resorts - please resolve this issue.

Maan let me tell you.. this place was awful. From the moment my family and I walked in we could see this place was not well maintained and was old. Walking down the hall you can see the paint was old and chipping. The base board or the black plastic liner used for base boards was coming off in several places. We get to the room and there was roaches. Live roaches. The sofa bed was dirty as if it was pulled out the dumpster.. No exaggeration.. when we pulled the bed out.. that mattress was nasty and filthy with stains.. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep on that.. This was supposed to be the King Suite.. needless to say we canceled that stay and went elsewhere.. This hotel should not be renting rooms in this condition. I’m sure the Health Department and local Code Enforcement should be looking at this place. I wish I had took pictures, but we were thoroughly disgusted.

It's in rough shape as far as appearance goes I'll say that but the staff was helpful and friendly I like to stay to myself and they didn't badger me to come into my room. Anything I asked they did their best to accommodate. And been here 2 weeks with little to no complaints the 5o have been here a little too much tho cherries and berries every few days kinda makes yab uneasy.

WAY below the 2.2 star rating. Troubles checking in for a room that had been prepaid for weeks in advance. 1st room was ground level & clearly had a flood. Furniture, drywall, ceiling, curtains has mold everywhere. 2nd room had not been cleaned, stains on couch bed & linen, neither mini-fridge worked candy wrappers everywhere & appears staff used it as a smoke break room.... other tenants complained of a dirty dog smell but that would have been an upgrade to our experience. Some staff was helpful & kind, others were too stoned to converse with. We noticed several staff members smoking 420 on property & in staff room. Didn't hide it well. 1st time in 35+ yrs of traveling we cancelled & went elsewhere

This place is absolutely disgusting. Make sure you have all your shots before staying because you will definitely be leaving with some type of disease you didn’t come with. It looks like they are painting over stains in the ceilings to cover up black mold, you can see it on the carpets in the hallways. The buttons in the elevator, the walls, the floors… literally everything is filthy. The fifth floor reeked of cigarette smoke…. You’d literally be better off sleeping in your car or even outside. I turned the key in and got out of there as fast as I can.
