Rooms are nice but had a mold smell. Woman at front desk very rude and lazy. Charged $50 deposit that had to be paid on card. Today is 8 days and still haven't received it back. Also was charged a extra $2.50 for some new tax after booking my room with hotels.com. Being i will probably never see the $50 deposit i recommend going across the street and paying extra. It's the same in the long run.

I was booked to stay 4 nights at this location and after immediately walking into the room I knew I had to cancel my stay. The room wreaked of mildew, the carpet was old there had clearly been a flood or leak in the room to which they poorly repaired, there was also 2 visible mold spots growing on the wall. The night clerk was not too friendly while checking in. The morning clerk offered to let us check out a different room the next day to see if it was better and the key she gave us to another room currently had someone in it. We checked out immediately. The breakfast was also not great, the bathrooms and lobby were clean though!

Terrible stay. Upon walking in to the lobby, I was met with a horrible odor - I prayed the smell did not carry to my room, however, the room smelled just as bad, if not worse. As I was checking in, I was informed I would have to pay an additional $50 in case there was any damage or issues with the room after I checked out and would not be canceled within 7-10 days after checkout which was a big red flag. The first evening, I attempted to call the lobby to ask where the water fountain was, however, the phone in the room was not working. I went down to the lobby and was met by an unpleasant receptionist who informed me there was no water fountain and all the water bottles were gone already. She told me the only way to get drinking water this late (it was around 5pm) was to pay for a water bottle at the vending machine. The 250mL water bottle was $3 and the vending machine charged my card a $6 hold - which I highly doubt I will get back. The next morning I checked the location where the “water bottles” were and confirmed my suspicion, there was indeed no water. The lack of basic human necessities (drinking water) only added to my frustration with my stay. Some additional issues: - there was no working light in the main room (aside from a lamp) - the shower tub was stained - the faucet in the bathroom was broken so the water was always cold - the pillows were horribly uncomfortable - my room was next door to the cleaning closet and I was woken up every morning at 7am (even on the weekend) - no bag storage or late check out which was inconvenient as I had a late flight

Great location, terrible hotel! When I arrived the desk had informed me that there would be a $50 hold applied to my credit card in case there is any damage or issues with the room after I check out, and would be canceled in 7 - 10 days if there is no damage or issues. That was a big red flag right off the bat! Obviously the clientele they keep are not the best tailored, and they have had problems in the past. The first room I was given had a musty odor when I entered it, and after being in the room for about 5 minutes I noticed the toilet kept running. I lifted the top of the tank lid to look and the chain to the flapper was missing and the bobber was all the way to the top and the adjuster was broken. I also noticed the bathtub/shower was grungy and yellowed. I tried to call the front desk but the phone wasn’t working, and I walked back down to discuss with the attendant. They ended up giving me a second room, no apologies for the first room…. When I entered the second room it was like the heat was on. I quickly turned the AC down to 60 degrees and put the blower on high. The furniture was all scratched up and chipped all over to the point that you could see the bare wood. The toilet base was broken where it bolts to the floor and when you sat down on it you wobbled back and forth. The bathtub/shower had mold where the tub meets the bathroom floor and the wall surround of the tub was repaired on the seam but wasn’t pushed together tightly causing mold/mildew to build up. After an hour the room temperature still was warm. You could feel a slight breeze of coolness when you were laying on the bed, but as soon as you stand up the heat hits you. I tried to call the front desk to see if someone could come look at the AC, but the phone in that room did not work as well. At that point I just gave up. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were not much better. In the morning I took a shower and when I lifted the towel off the rack I noticed the towel underneath was all stained. I travel to Mount Pleasant often and obviously I will not be staying there ever again. I would say that this place should be renamed “Lack of Quality Inn”.

The room was clean, up to date and the property had a nice outdoor pool. But the room was a bit small. I would recommend for a short stay.
