Where to start? No hot water for showers... and 4-legged friends in the bathroom. Breakfast included... I would say that you should change your photos on your site... NOTHING is representative. Honestly we had a choice of 3 hotels with similar prices, we selected this one because there were 2 photos of waffles and waffle machines, the children wanted this for breakfast. We were told the first morning, in a stupid tone by someone who seemed to be the manager: We no longer have this machine and we will never have waffles again, it is not good for you!! Coffee... there was no more coffee in the 3 carafes, the same person answered another customer: We have 250 people in the hotel at the moment, I am trying to do everything. go see the reception for coffee. There was no more cereal in both vending machines... Bacon made in the microwave :( Never had bacon that bad. No tongs to take the slices of bread, so everyone put their hands in the bags.... yogurt was the only decent food. Anyway, we went to eat elsewhere which cost us $45 per day. Sunday morning 7am, workers were moving and stirring tiles against the exterior wall directly to our room, it was as if they were in the room!! The springs of one of the beds creaked at the slightest movement... We were in 104, it's the bed of the find if ever... A great family stay!! Not.

In all fairness, this site is under construction for updates. Taking that into consideration, there are definitely areas that need these updates, but the hotel is clean, and the staff is very friendly! Amenities that we used include a pool and a hot tub (that my kids used). You have to get towels from the front desk which is probably helpful for them. It's in a greenhouse setting. Plenty of tables and chairs. We ate pizza and the kids played in the pool for a bit but they said it was cold (winter time I would think they would heat the pool a bit more but I don't know what the norm is). They did warm up in a hot tub that took us a bit to figure out how to work (hope the updates include the pool area). They serve breakfast daily. The kids enjoyed cereal. There is a waffle maker, different hot breakfast items, muffins and pre wrapped bakery items, coffee and teas and more in a cozy dining setting. We stayed on the 3rd floor at the end of the hall. It was quiet. Dated decor but clean. The rooms themselves (we used 3) were also clean and very warm! The heaters were set to 70 but the rooms were much warmer. I was able to reset 2 to auto and one I reset to 63 to bring the temperature down. (Thankfully it wasn't the opposite, not heat, so it was something we could work with). The information online said they provide transportation to and from the airport, bus station, etc. The location is close to a mall, a grocery store, and many service stations. Some within walking distance. My brother needed to use this to get back to the airport. He didn't realize until they were on their way that this was an additional charge. It was $20 which isn't bad, but it would have been nice if they had mentioned this on their info as being additional or when he had inquired at the front desk. Overall, the stay was pleasant. I travel to the area often and look forward to seeing the completed renovations. (This trip was neither business or vacation. We were in the area for a family funeral. Having a quiet place to retreat to after some overwhelming days was nice.)

This property has so many problems 1. The phones were not properly working in room, preventing any communication with the desk unless physically going down. (The GM, Kevin, said they are changing systems) I’ve never been to a hotel without proper phones, 2. The outside is under construction, the inside elevator is in the worst condition, you feel like you’re going to fall. 3. The heat is not working at the this hotel, we were arrived to a room with blasting heat and the window open, after closing the window and turning off the heat the heat wouldn’t turn back on, there’s no one to help, they moved us to another room and that rooms heat took 3 to even start working. 4. The staff and GM are awful. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel this is not it. 5. Rooms were filthy and had dead bugs in corners. This hotel should not be running.

Pleasant stay with an indoor pool. Room was clean and in good condition. I'm personally not a fan of carpet in rooms because of hygiene. In the night there were some screaming in the halls and the heatingfan was super loud. Service was great, very kind people.

For us, travelling from Canada several times a year, this location is a perfect stopping point. We have been staying here since 2016. However, this last stay, Dec 30th, 2024 was terrible, and the culmination of an ever-declining service and cleanliness/maintenance over the past 2-3 years. Although the hotel is 'under exterior' renovation, and we can certainly make allowances for that, several other factors have been worse with every visit. The linens were worn and not fitted to cover the mattress; the bedspread was 'knobby' and obviously well past the time that it should be replaced: we woke in the morning to shower but found there were NO towels in the bathroom; the elevator was broken; the side entrance door has been open and does not secure, now for the past few years and it is still not fixed. The front desk staff during our visit were unhelpful and non-empathetic: when my husband called for towels at 5:30am, he was told to come down to get them, and endured the front desk person's lengthy complaints about the housekeeping in the hotel, and the frequency of this happening. A total lack of professionalism. The breakfast bar area was dirty, and disorganized, looking like it was 'slapped together' and certainly not appetizing. Travelling with two dogs, we walked the grounds with them, and found the property excessively littered with feces and garbage. It is evident the grounds are not maintained in any way, and are in fact unsafe for walking pets. This location is a poor, and declining, representation of the La Quinta brand.
